Today we are budgeting out my first paycheck of July!!! How is this year already half way over?!? So wild!

On your electric bill being so high in the summer. I don't know if your electric provider has a budget plan or not. Some do, some don't. But if they do, maybe look into it. You pay approximately the same set amount for each bill throughout the year. Yes, you might wind up paying a higher amount than you normally would in the winter- but it keeps you from having these overwhelmingly high bills in the summer. I have a budget plan for both my electric and gas bills. They adjust the budget after a full year and sometimes you might pay more or less on the last bill depending on whether you racked up a debit or credit throughout the year (depending on your overall usage) There have been times when I basically got a free month because I had a credit at the end of the year- which is really awesome.
But again, not all companies offer such a plan- but worth looking into if yours does!
I will definitely have to look into it to see if that’s an option! Thank you so much!

Had to use my emergency fund to replace ALL of my groceries. Glad I had the cash in my binder.

You can call your power company and ask for a budget billing so that it’s the same every month. It’s based on the last 12 months.
