It may make it too thick but you can try it and see how well it works for you.

You can purchase filters online to insert into the filter pocket )check the description box). In this video. I used a surgical mask (not used), cut it in 2 and used as a filter which I inserted into the opening (filter pocket).

I don't know how effective they are against viruses and bacteria so I can't say. Stay fabric just give more structure to the face mask.

You can cut in different prints if you want, that's definitely up to you. I don't understand what you mean by 15 x 10. My measurements were done in inches.

from cm to inches, divide whatever you have in cm by 2.5. Your answer will be in inches.

I used a surgical mask (not used), cut it in half until I can get a proper filter. So I get to use one surgical mask two times.
