    I really love your hair! Does it look less bulky because of how you styled the hair or is it because of the type of hair you used?

    I’ve seen so many tutorials that instructed to twist in the opposite direction. Wondering if that’s why I had a difficult time. I ended up braiding the root.

    • @ChristinaLight
      @ChristinaLight  7 років тому +4

      Aiesha Mumford possibly. When I first did twists a few years ago, I would braid at the root but I eventually found this method easier and I prefer the look!

      You twist the individual sides of the two sectors in one direction then cross them in the other

    You are gorgeous miss! Love your hair. How often do you wash in between re-twist?

    • @ChristinaLight
      @ChristinaLight  6 років тому +6

      Cherry Lynn thanks! I honestly just wash whenever I feel like it. I’ll do an AVC rinse every 4 days or so. When my twists start to get frizzy, I’ll do the rinse, rake through with some eco styler gel, wrap my hair and it will look fresher again.

    You're so pretty and great at twisting!! May I ask how many inches of hair you used?

    About how many hours does it take for you to finish this style ? It looks amazing and I’m gonna go find that hair today

    • @ChristinaLight
      @ChristinaLight  4 роки тому +3

      I usually break up the style over 3 days, about 4 hours each, so prob around 12 hours total. Thank you!

    Great tutorial! How long do you usually keep this style in and how long does it take to complete this style?
    Love the no makeup look on you by the way. Your face looks so fresh!

      Special thank you!! I’m pretty picky when it comes to my hair so I might retwist the front only every 2-3 weeks.

    • @ChristinaLight
      @ChristinaLight  7 років тому +1

    How much hair did you use in each strand to get them that small ???

    • @ChristinaLight
      @ChristinaLight  7 років тому +8

      Hey! I used a "strand" of marley hair for each section. Marley hair typically comes pre-separated, which makes the process even quicker!

      Hey Taneshia, I usually keep my twists in for 4-6 weeks, but I'll retwist the front few every 2-3 weeks.

    Hi there!! What about twists at the top and straight hair for the rest. (Hugs from your Auntie Sandy here) You can text me also.

    • @ChristinaLight
      @ChristinaLight  4 роки тому +1

      Sandra Dolores hey Auntie Sandy!! ❤️❤️❤️ i wouldn’t recommend doing that with Marley hair but if you were to use kanekalon hair instead and keep them small, you’ll achieve the look i think you’re aiming for!
