pharrell has been producing songs with ed sheeran over the last year. In an interview ed sheeran that he's been a massive influence to push himself into new genres and new music styles. Them 2 have made over 100 songs over the last year which is fascinating considering there are only as few on his album (his favourite songs make it).
So pharrell is there to 'splash' some new colour into ed sheeran's songs. This album deserves its hype.

This song was primarily written and produced by Pharrell Williams, who also did plenty of Timberlake's material. Of course you would think this is him (not meant in any negative manner).

Why are people so negative all of a sudden?
The song isn't perhaps emotional or have a meaning, but must every one of his songs be about emotions? Maybe he just wants to have fun and show a new side of him, a one less serious. What's wrong about that?

As far Pharrel, so what? He has produced this song, and probably every song on the radio. Ed wanted to work with him because he is the top producer right now, and knows how to produce good songs with hit quality. Which is what Ed wanted, I think
