Is the pvc foam sheets suitable for an interior door? I'm working on a diy vertically recessed pocket door that will be pneumaticaly operated so I'm looking for something lighter than standard pvc but still somewhat durable.

Hi @jasonklim27, thank you for your question! Foamed PVC will be too soft and too easily damaged by impacts. Have you looked at HDPE? That has a density of 0.95 grams per cubic metre. A lot lower than the 1.42 of Hard PVC. We hope this answer has provided you with the information you require. If you have any other questions, you can always visit our FAQ page or contact our customer service.

Are either one of these toxic? Like if you want to build kitchen cabinets for the home?

Hi, thank you for your question!
These PVC sheets are unsuitable for cutting and processing food on. This can indeed be unhealthy. Otherwise, the sheets are definitely suitable for use in the kitchen because of their moisture resistance and chemical resistance. If you have any other questions, you can always visit our FAQ page or contact our customer service.
