I like you you described Woke Up as punch after punch, it is true. Howling is punch after punch then it cradles and soothes your soul with the prechorus and chorus, then punches again. Crazy.

Was fortunate to see XG's concert in SF. Snippets of Howling were used as an intro, I believe, not full song... IYKYK wasn't even used at the time because that didn't officially release until that Friday. Today, I believe they use both. Regardless, it was an awesome show and recommend to any fan to go. So talented they are.

My interpretation is that theyre fighting generic unauthentic IA generated industry made art and showing how talented and original theyre are. This is a cultural reset like you said, never seen something like this before. Its crazy how they just get better and better. Theyre becoming unstoppable.
What this MV has over Woke Up is that the storytelling is more concise. Woke up seems more a collection of vignettes with only Maya's and Cocona's section seeming to have a storyline you can follow while the others seem more a collection of artistic images. While Howling is as if not more artistic but you can see the storyline running through the video so that you get a beginning and an end of the story
Not gonna lie , me , a 31 years old male had to hold back tears when I listened this ! What it does to your brain is out of this world , we needed them in this particular era where music has no emotion anymore...
XG are a in a league of their own. This production is worthy of awards. It's bloody genius and beautiful. The hard rap dark edge vs the softer cuter vibe is incredible.
