Good Seeing You & Your Father Back At It Again David, That Old Ford Galaxy Sounds Good, Can’t Wait To See What’s Next With The Couriers & That F200!! God Bless You All Rev!!
There's only a few happier sounds than a good engine firing up and running.Well done Again! Good gosh guys.At least 1 of those Couriers will chug to a buzz soon.TY for what you bring us.
We had 59 galaxie back in about 1960 my daddy drove that galaxie all 5 kids from california to oklahoma and back again, i'll never for get that car. I believe we had the ac blower in the window and the water bag on the front bumper too, man this bring back some memories, thanks yall
My great grandfather had a 59 Ford, just love it.
I know feeling my schedule been crazy busy like seeing the old galaxy come to life
All you had to do was mention the Pott County Legend and that Ford Courier knew you meant business.
Good to see you and the Ole Man turning wrenches again. I like them little Ford Couriers and that F250 has some great potential
Mazda trucks with Ford name ! Later the opposite ,Ford ranger built for mazda
Beautiful car! I hope you are doing well and look forward to seeing more!
Really love that 59
That Galaxie must have been a beautiful car in it's day, I'd love something like that as a daily driver.
See David, that's what I like about you!, you will acknowledge those of your fellow carnuts! You have referred to Derekisms and also the pot county legend! That's what's so great about your channel is you are honest and you are to the point.
I'm a fan of both of those guys. I enjoy their content and I am.not in competition with them. UA-cam is fun for me and I hope it always remains that way.
Hey Rev. Great video. Good to see you and the Ole Man. Missed y'all the last couple weeks. Much Love from SC.
C’mon Rev…you gotta embrace the GM HEI. Simple, reliable, and only 1 wire. Thanks for another great video.
Great video
One VW for 4 Fords? Sounds like a deal to me brother!! That old 500 has lots of potential. Shoot, they all do! Great job as always y'all!
FYI, Ford never referred to it as a Galaxie Fairlane 500, just Galaxie. Glad you saved it.
@@RevStoration They introduced the Galaxie well after the rest of the line-up. The Fairlane 500 had a different roof with a different rear window and different rear corner posts, but the same exterior trim. They had probably already made a big supply of emblems for the trunk lid and dashboard and didn't feel like making new ones.
"That's for a much bigger truck, That's probably for that Toyota over there", I gotta laugh out of that one 😅
Davve, you gotta become part of the mini truck mafia, puddin on puddins fab shop wouldn't forgive ye. Love your videos. Greets from Ireland 🇮🇪
Alright! Rev How Are Yahhhh? Great To See you.
HAPPY Sunday REV and family at my church we had gospel groups sir it was great
I just love watching your show I watch all the time I own a 59 it was ment green and white and I love that you and your dad has so much fun God bless yall
Love them old Ford's and Chevy's. 1959 Ford love em. The 57 is my favorite though the 58 I really like and was very under rated.
Not too bad of a trade one Volkswagen for 4 Fords. That '59 sounds great. You and the Ole man do good work.
@@RevStoration Yes so far the Chemo seems to be working 3 more monthly treatments to go and my Oncologist says I should be cancer free.
Thanks for another , Brothers !!
Thanks for a fun video Reverend David. The 59 is a runner. Thank you for sharing. God’s blessings!
Poll Barn Garage was looking for a 1959 ford. Awesome video thank y'all
might be a bit late but glad 2 c u and the ole man back
2 of my favorite Fords ever, Courier and the 59 ! Of course an old truck is in my mix too.
Keep on havin fun!
I had a 58 Fairlane for a few years, loved it so much! But man! You aren't lying about the knee knocker A pillar! I'm 6 2, 280lbs. Can't remember how many times I limped away from that car! Please make sure this car goes to a home that will cherish it! I'd still have it if times didn't get so tough even though I was born in 82, the vehicles of the 50's and 60's are my utmost favorite! Nothing will ever match the design, quality and pride than that of the era!
You don’t beat those bubble windows! Such a beautiful car
That distributor is an ebay special. The top is GM HEI with a bottom for the engine. I have one in my 91 5.0 in my 79 fairmont. They work really good but I had some clearance issues with my heater hose connection on the front of the intake because the cap is so big.
I was going to put a hei in my '72 dart but the distributor is in at the top behind the intake and there isn't enough room with the firewall so close. I ended up going with a Mopar Performance electronic ignition set with a high performance dwell in the distributor to replace the point set up it had. I bought it used without instructions on how to wire it up. I got it working and it would run great, smoke the tires real good, then when I came back and shut it off it wouldn't restart. After several coil replacements I figured out I had to have a resister between the 12v hot wire and the coil. It ran great but then the brakes went out. Lack of maintenance I guess. It never stopped that good to begin with 4 wheel manual drums. My brother came over and helped me tear the front end apart to put disc brakes on it. He left and it's still on blocks. I've been researching it and maybe one day I will figure out how to put it back together. Most shops won't even try to work on a old Dodge and the ones that do won't take a job after it's already apart. I can't move it with the front suspension missing. All the stuff had to come off each side. I have all the parts to put disc brakes on the front besides a proportioning valve for manual disc brakes, they seem to be non existent.
Hey Rev good to see you in the old man I was starting to worry God bless looking forward to this video your friend and brother Larry
I love your videos, and I have been watching for a long time now. I have a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door fastback, and I found your channel from your 67 galaxie videos. I was also a youth pastor for a few years but am now a teacher. I am known at my school as a quick witted pun maker, and I have another polar bear one for you. What happens when a polar bear sits on the ice too long, He gets polaroids. lol. Keep being awesome, and God bless.
Welcome back, Rev. Been thinking of you lately and anxiously awaiting a new video.
I see a Alt. On that 59 tells me some one been in there before.
I went all the way to Yellowstone Park from NW Indiana In a my Ex's Grandfather's 57 Ford, in the early 80's, every town we went through, everybody's were doing doubletree!
Also don't forget about those ford jiggler keys I sent to you!
Great job, I really enjoyed your fun video, as always!
Sounds beautiful. That’s what a car supposed to sound like.
Rev... PFS would be in heaven with those mini trucks❤
That Ford truck is screaming for puddin in Oklahoma lol,you don't want to take a battle with puddin lol
I've wanted one of those since the first time I saw one in my 20s.
Excellent video Rev 😊 , Ole Man Eugene 😊 plus crew to and you guys are wild and that car sounds like racing car for sure! Also easy fix for start up and short drive Lol !
She's purring like a kitten, I don't know what kind of kitten lol😂😅😂❤❤
The leader of Tibet just created a new hotline...
It's called the Dial a Llama...
When you was heading to that one truck I thought oh good lord tell me he isn't going to that newer white truck hahaha
My 1st car was the exact body style! Only year Ford made a Galaxy 500 Fairlane. Mine had the 292 and automatic transmission. Sold it 35 years ago and it's still running around town! I was the 3rd owner!
The old man knows his stuff
You are two crazy guys!
Cool looking old cat! I think y'all got a sweet trade
Another great video glad I got to see it can't wait until I get to see the next one
Hello Rev and the ole man
Very cool, great vid!!! 👍👍
I build FE’s daily at my shop. It’s the only thing I do. When the time comes on that old truck I can hook you up with a fresh 360 for it. I can work you out a heck of a deal on one
We have a good 360 that is coming with it.. We will freshen it up and install.. thanks for watching and I appreciate you.
@@RevStoration yes sir. You ever need anything I’m not far from you. I can get you anything you need for a FE. Happy to help out. Love your content
Yin's guys are funny. Keep up the great work yin's guys
Rev that appears to be a GM HeI distributer, I saw one like it on another Ford video on you tube. you are going to have to connect up the vaccum advance to a vaccum source.Good Luck Bro!
Robert Mitchum [rough era speaking]. Thunder Road Fairlane :-) Very cool.Ride number 4 is cool too :-)
Another awesome video! Can't wait to see the f250 going! Get it going and Ole pudin will have a buddy lol! Yall are awesome! Thank you for this video! I love em all, bless yall!
Had a 352 in a 1963 Galaxy 500. The distributor cap looks like it belongs on a Chevy( hei )
You guys are too funny! Y’all make my day!😊🇨🇦
Rev that is and awesome car and I hope you have it on the channel some more thanks your videos are very entertaining
I hope you guys do these kinds of videos for a long time. Praying for you all .I'm a big fan
I understand by now Rev, BUT, I'll still call your dad, Mr. Rev's dad! I'm not family, I'm not kin, not a close neighbor, I live in the North East so, I need to keep as respectful as I can. That's my upbringing...
This FORD wants to GOOOOOO!!!
I never thought a GM distributor would fit a FE ford 352, I suppose by chance the shaft gear matched up
It is an ebay special... the gear has been changed to fit a Ford... but it works and works well.
@@RevStoration Okay. Yes, those coils on the top of the caps are better for sure.. One more thing, how could any person not love you?
Hey there Rev! You need to take example from the pot county legend, swap-out them Ford engines with Chevrolet 😂 just kidding around, I'm glad to see another fantastic video from you guys, you're one of my favorite UA-camrs. Good luck with your four Fords, looking forward to seeing what you do with them. Keep up the good work and God bless you and your family 👍✌️🇺🇲
niki T says were gonna have fun fun fun till daddy takes the pinto away lol
Love the ‘59 Galaxy 352! She needs you to rebuild that 4 b.bl.!
Gotta ‘60 Thunderbird 352 4b.bl. myself… We got that vacuum secondaries issue not opening no matter what you do so I’m going to leave the vacuum secondaries system on there and connect a mechanical assist.
You and your dad work good together! I like that 59 Ford and those little couriers are cool too. Where can I send you a Joke for the channel? God bless ya'all! I'm starting to say "ya'all now even though I'm from the north! HA!
That ford sounds great, keep up the good content
Awesome video I learned to drive in my Daddys 59 Ford it was 352 with 3 speed with overdrive
Had a light blue and white one.
352" with 3 speed and overdriver. Scored a 427"..broken rod.for $75.00.
Repaited in JC auto shop and exploded the rhree speed on first hard pull.
Bought everything from the flywheel to posi rear out of a wrecked drag racer..4 speed tranny.
Put the stock hubcaps back on with full hubcaps and a pair of cheater slicks.
Blew the doors off a few Chevies that didn't know what hit them...😅
59 FORDS ALSO HAD A 332 V8 IN IT PLUS THE 352 AND 292 V8S
Don't know if you got my st Patrick's joke , what do you call an Irishman with so much energy that he's bouncing off the walls ,,,,,,, Rick O'Shay ! Lol love them 57 , 58, 59 fords !
She’s gonna fire right on up!!! 😊
I got a 352 I would about give you if you ever in need. I’m in North MS not sure how far that is from you. I’ve never heard it run but based on my experience the old FEs will almost always run I know it’s not stuck and the oil looks good.
That's a good-looking old Ford especially to be a 4-door I like that body style
@@josephwatson2711 I noticed that after I posted that comment. Wow. That is really a cool car being a 2 door.
31:33 I dont know if you noticed, but in the trunk, I saw the generator. Same mounting bracket as the one on my Edsel. It's got one! Just, in the wrong place.
Love this video 😂❤
Bless you guys
I had a 59 Ford like that. It was all white but the same model.
I'd get that 4bbl rebuilt and back on the engine. With the 4bbl it is called a Interceptor Special or later on, a Thunderbird Special. That is a 300HP engine! If you could find a 4160 carb. for it, that will kick it up about another 30+HP.
@@RevStoration 4100 is so under-rated. Fixing it's the smart thing to do.
I would love to see y’all guys give this one a wash 🧼
Looks like a pretty solid car!
Almost wondering if you sol.. I mean "passed along"...some of them cars and took a trip to Hawaii! 😉
I think if you pulled half these guys that watched your videos David the crazy message you use 90% of them is all we grew up doing that's what we didn't have any money didn't have the right tools but we had to make a run and certainly didn't have the right parts
Where do people find these cars? Man I wish I could stumble upon one of these.
That`s a GM HEI distributor set up made for a ford that way you don`t need all the junk that went with the ford electronic distributor. all you need is to run battery power to the distributor and you got it going .
Truck is in better shape than the other one
😂 great video!!! I Love Y'all ✌✌❤🙏
You got 2 bars that run that GMHU auto distributor style thing you got a tack bar and a clamp you don't have to hook the tack war up hes running power to the battery
Come on rev , help the oldman
You don't want to join ole Puddin in the mini truck mafia lol
Looks like a Davis Unified Ignition distributor. I don’t know much about them other than it was an attempt to put GM HEI ignition on non GM vehicles.
2 Galaxies I never liked: the 59 and the 62.
I'm 63 my Parents had a 59 Ford Galaxie 500 with the 352 V8 and the bubble plastic covers on the seats I spent many nights laying in the back package tray watching the stars on old HWY 64 in Ark as a child.
