Hello and thank you for your guide here I have some questions for you I am a Swedish citizen and have a second home/vacation home in Spain Now i want to buy a car, or actually two cars The plan is to buy them in Germany, and drive them down to Spain How do I do at the border.. The vehicles only going to have the temp plates, export plates from Germany And second, how and what do I do to registered them in Spain.. Then another question, once they are registered, can I drive them around on my Swedish driving license... Due to our primary residence is in Sweden.. and now these cars supposed to be in Spain and registered in Spain I probably call or contact you when coming closer to the buy
I just bought a car in the Netherlands but the car was bought original new in Spain in 2015. Paid road taxes in NL and insurance, drove it to Spain and now want Spanish plates. How do i go about please? Thanks.
Chris, am I right in saying that any car that’s usual parking place is Spain is obligated to change its Registration if in Spain for more than six months ? And that applies to EU cars too ? Do you know what Article No within the Spanish legal system that is ?
Thanks for this Chris very informative. I will be hoping to bring my car over next year when I go through my NLV application. My motor is 2016 registered and listening to what you are saying Import costs may not be as expensive as i thought. I assume this is also something you offer a service for?
@@peternewberry7700 depending if the car is fully reg and it's ready for a name change the a week should be about right , great idea for a video so will get one on

If you buy a new car in Spain. From point of sale to collection how long approximately does it take
That really depends on the make model and available, some manufacturers may have cars in stick and others like Mercedes can take months for delivery
