I was born and raised in Detroit, served in the military, I have a squeaky clean record besides smoking some weed back in the day and when I applied for DPD I was rejected for lack of integrity and moral conduct! The screening process is jacked up.

This department is very much out of control!and they should be sued until Detroit file for bankruptcy!get rid of all the bad ass cops who do these things to people!and if the people have to sue the city then by all means sue their asses where it hurts! Their wallets!

The alcohol related ones due to trauma are somewhat understandable. The violent assaults on unarmed citizens who posed no threat are inexcusable and must be punished to the full extent. That behavior is psychopathic, and those types need to be locked up for the safety of the communities.

    1) Regardless of whether its Detroit, Grand Rapids or Lansing, wrong is wrong. 2) Trauma=Reason for bad behavior? Not buying it. When will anyone ever take responsibility for their bad actions? 3) The job, they CHOSE TO DO, is traumatic by definition. Get training to deal with it. Otherwise, choose another occupation.

A big gang leader recently came to the conclusion he's not getting out anytime soon. And he's decided to talk. Being as it is that he has been in it for awhile he's made alot of allies. And if he were going to choose to inform on some more, the most likely outcome would be to move the pawn off the board that's least likely going to be a threat. With GPS, low jacks in their patrol cars, and a log of their comings and goings, that pawns most likely going to be corrupt law enforcement. They'd be the safest bet. Whether any of that is in the works already.. who knows. But being as he isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and his knowledge is his only form of currency.. More than likely he is going to take his time spending it.

X every single complaint ever filed against those 64 officers which could equal hundreds or thousands of excessive force complaints or other complaints that they failed to follow up on and prosecute for

That one fool said he always wanted to be a cop, but in the video of being stopped for suspicion of shoplifting, he is clearly seen resisting the officer. Stupid behavior for someone wanting to be a cop. Typical behavior. All he had to do was go with the officer and prove he took nothing. Then he goes home. But no, he has to act black and do what all the other blacks do. Not listen to what they are told.

The police department has to be overhauled and what I mean by overhauled we have to know or a public list of all the officers on psychotropic drugs also offices that sustained an injury and require opiates. Also officers should be in a constant rotation so that if they need mental health they can receive it without them losing their rank and pay. no officer should be on the street for 20 years straight without rotating to do some office work those offices on the street need relief. It's just a suggestion. If I'm wrong I'm wrong
