Fruit, Siege veteran here. Hip fire = always spread. Like literally, the spread is insane, with any gun, but especially the shotgun. So hip fire shots will always rely on luck. Now because the BosG is a shotgun, there's a small factor of luck involved if you Aim Down Sights as well, but trust me, if your sights are aligned well on the head, you can actually snipe quite easily on longer ranges with it. But definitely try to always ADS in fights, unless you absolutely have to just shoot away because the enemy is right in your face (tho melee is better then).
