- The look right now is the shorter chain style. I love it for a lot of reasons but I feel I needed to make this video to help some people out. The 18 inch length is great but only works for a handful of people. The next size up would be a 20 inch so I wanted to take a bunch of videos and give my advice between the 18 inch and 20 inch. I do feel the 20 inch is a much better choice. It really varies though. Thanks for watching!

I have the 4mm flat curb and imo the 18inch is perfect for being active. I work out with it, play soccer in it, and sleep with it and forget I even have it on. Perfect for everyday but not so much for trying to flex the gold around your neck. I have the 5mm 24 inch rose gold rope for that. Shop Jacoje!

18" is a bit short for my preferences even though I have a thinner neck. The only way I could rock an 18" chain is with a small pendant on it so there is a little bit of drop.
20 or 22 inch for me too. 22 being my new favorite length.
Good video, very helpful. I watched all of your videos before buying my first chain, 22” 2.4mm baby curb and I love it but I definitely wish I would have gone a little bit bigger. Your advice is true - when in doubt always go bigger.
My neck is 16 inc so this was a perfect video for me. The 20 inc is the classiest looking chain for average size guys in my opinion.

I have a 16 inch chain and 18 it fits me fine, it all depends on if your neck is fat or thin you know, I would say take a shoe string and measure the length you want and test that length at home before u go make a purchase, that way you know the length you want
I've fully just watched a fat review for the sake of 2 inches difference in a necklace and i have no regrets
I doubt I could even get an 18” around my Brock Lesner like neck 😂👊🏻

I ordered a 20 inch based on your recent videos. I never thought about my neck size. The 20 inch fits me more like the 18 inch fits you. I’m getting used to it but definitely need a 22 inch. I got the 20 inch 4mm 18k Miami Cuban link from you a couple weeks ago. I love it!!
Good choice on the 18k 4mm cuban. I'm picking up a 4mm baby curb when they are back in stock. I've found 22 is the way to go compared to 20". Plus the longer ones weigh more which is always good .

What size is your neck? If you don’t mind me asking. I have a 24” Cuban link chain which is too long for everyday use in my opinion and I have a 54 cm (roughly 21.2”) chain which is my perfect length for an everyday chain. I can’t seem to find that length with he quality i want without getting a custom. Do you think I should go with a 20” or 22”?
@@kflow4491 I have a 17 1/2 inch neck. I would go with a 22”. 20” felt like it was choking me but I’m used to it now. Definitely will get a 22” next time.

I'm a very conservative guy, and thin. Love the 18" for the exact reasons he doesn't prefer it. I like that it will slip under a tee shirt so just the back is seen. I see chains like cologne, the less the better.
I recently was looking at a 2mm 20 inch Franco to stack on my 3mm Cuban and for my neck size it looks great! I think 20 is good for a short classy look.

Bigger taller and heavier people should go with a longer chain I think. For me 24 and 26 inches is perfect the tight 18 inch is just too short for me, but other people can pull that look off and it looks great.

Depending on the day/ night, occasion, what have you. I rock both , Sometimes even at the same time, I'll where my 20" with one of my longer ones, Like one of my 24" 26" or even 30" .like you've said, its personal preference.. imo the 18" and (10 years back) 30"+ chains are fad lengths. In between is where 10 years from now, you'll still be able to wear it, look good & and not feel like a clown.
My neck is 13 and a quarter to 13 and a half. The 18" is not a choker on me, but still way too tight for my taste. I prefer longer chains, a minimum of 22", and I prefer 24" overall.

24 is what’s in style rn and it’s perfect if you get 3mm up. Plus with a pendant it look even better. I have a solid 18k chain and pendant and I get compliments at least once a week because most ppl don’t see how nice 18k really looks. So id advice everyone to get 18k if their looking for a chain.
Solid good always beats plated as plated doesn’t last as long and will peel over time I have a solid 14k necklace and definitely satisfied. Where can I find 1&k solid piece ?
i think another thing to keep in mind (for an everyday chain) is if you're playing sports. i'm in the market right now and currently leaning towards 20" (i'm 6 feet tall) and think if i'm shooting hoops the 22" + pendant might get in the way at times. i had that happen to me when i wore a chain years ago. right now, i'm thinking 20" and 2mm with a pendant, but still researching.

@@pabloibarra9874 I ended up going with 20”. 22” felt a little too loose for everyday use. 21 might have been ideal, but wasn’t worth cutting. Others have said the length is fine on me, too.

If you don’t mind me asking what is your neck size? I’m in pretty much the same situation as you (same height, looking for everyday chain etc.). I’m leaning towards the 20” but I’m a bit worried it’ll be too tight. I have a 21.2” and that’s a perfect everyday length for me but the quality isn’t there so wanted a higher quality everyday one
20” is the sweet spot for me. I’m 6’0” slender with a pencil neck.

Short length chains are really uncomfortable. I had a 20” one and that was too short for me. I had a 28” or 30” chain before but it was too long. Would constantly get tangled with my other chains. Now I have a medium length chain, it’s long enough to go over my head but not long enough to get tangled or risk it falling off during swimming. Perfect length. Took a lot a trial an error to get the right length.
