- The 20 inch and 22 inch are the most popular chains lengths these days. 22 inches is been the most popular overall. It really depends on your size and preference though. I wanted to make a video breaking down the differences and what to expect between these two. I feel this will help a lot of people out when trying to decide. Thanks for watching!

I stack a 22in 4mm flat curb and a 24” 4.5mm flat. I love them both and they look nice together tucked in to the shirt. I personally like the more subtle look of tucked in chains. If I were to get a solo chain it would probably be a 22” Cuban. My next set up though has got to be a 22” 4mm or 4.5mm rope with a large Angel pendant. I love that look. Jacoje quality is unbeatable. Have a decent collection building up and I love everything from the quality to the customer service to the super fast shipping and who can forget the random blog videos on occasion with pepper and Raquel 🔥🔥. Those are what kinda drew me into the brand more. It’s getting to know them more personally as people not just another jewelry brand. Thanks for all you guys do Braden and Raquel.
Definitely one of your best videos. I'd love to see you take it a step further and make a video with yourself and a friend that has a smaller neck size like a 15" and then show how a 20 and 22 w/ various shirts such as a polo, Vneck, and a crewnecks look.

You are correct. It fits differently if you're a skinnier type of person. The way the 22 inch looks on you is how a 20 inch would look on me, and how a 20 inch looks on you is how an 18 inch would look on me as well.
I'm 5 foot 4 and about 135 lbs, athletic and built, but not "swole" so I'm not that "big" in that aspect.
Similar sized guys or skinnier guys (or gals) can relate to that as well.
I’m 5'7 145 lbs with a 14.5 inch neck, will the 20 inch necklace sit like a 22 inch one on me ?
Im 5ft9 14.8inch neck and the 20In is my go to.
Definitely feel you on that yacht link, at that mm I’d probably say 20” is my favorite. My regular go-to for pendants is a 22”

Personally I own a 20” & 24” both 4mm ropes and I rock a standard diamond cross on the 20” & on me the setup is perfect! The stack looks very clean and with the little bit of weight from the diamond cross pendant it never gets accidentally tucked in my shirt unless I do it on purpose. I am 5’11” & 190lbs athletic build.. Love the chains, love the look, & look forward to plenty more to come!

This is helpful.. I'm the same build and have a 15.5 in neck. I was considering an 18 and 20in or 20/22. For a stack with 3mm and 3.5mm Franco with a standard pendant for when I'm going with a solitaire look.

I’ve had every size chain over the years I currently have an 18” a 20” a 22” and a 24”… man the 22” is king!!! Not baseball player short not 2000’s rapper long, it’s just right! It’s a 6mm Diamond cut rope . I love it. Was wearing a 30” it looked dated. I sold it!
Bros, 22” is my new go-to. I’ve been wearing 20” for years and just got my first 22” chain...14KT WG 3.5mm plain Franco. Braden is right on that the drop is about 1” going from 20 to 22”. And the drop appears to be less with heavier chains. FYI, I am 6’0”, ~163lbs, ~15.5” neck.
Wht helps with keeping the 20in chain from getting tucked in is getting a pendant to hold it in place

6mm 20 inch flat curb (If your on the thin side). Don’t even have a pendant yet because I’m saving up for the big three inch but i still get compliments daily on how chunky it is.
The 22” is my go to size. I feel the 20” is too short. I wear both 22” and 24” chains. Thanks for sharing. Smash 👊🏽

I usually go with a minimum 24 to 26 inch because I like to just throw them over my head no into all the opening closing! Currently shopping for a 10mm 26 inch flat curb but jacoje doesn’t have it yet!
Mine 18 inch but I don’t open and close it much I pretty much wear it 24/7
22” is my 20” 😂 22” is a very classy, clean way to go for almost everyone. That being said, 80 percent of my chains are 24”

I'm a big guy but I still like the 20 inch length but 22 inches is going to be my new 20 inch because my neck is over 18 inches now and I am still putting on muscle so the 24 inch is probably going to be the size I wear every day soon
Hi Braden, can you do a video about stacking ropes with flat curbs or mariners? Do they scratch because of the rope? Do you have any examples of chains over time with this set up?
The flat curbs will scratch. Nothing stacks better with a rope than another rope.
It also depends on what kind of shirt your wearing too.
Do you do custom sizing of 21” plus?

What length 7mm miami cuban link chain do you recommend for 6ft..250..17.5neck…to layer with my current 24” 3.5mm Figaro? In considering 22..or 23inch……or going with longer 26mm cuban at 6mm?
I have a fairly larger neck. I wear my 20" with a pendant with my polo shirts (pendant /chain show perfect). My 22" with a pendant for t shirt. My 24" solitaire with t shirt. Just recently got a 26" and it wears perfect for me on my t-shirts. My 26" fits on me, just like my 22" fits on my buddies neck. All about your neck size
I wear an 18” neck for button up shirts and I prefer 24” chains if they’re 5mm or larger. I can pull off 22” but it’s not as comfortable and it tends to come out of the shirt easier. I prefer side profile rather than on-top-of-the-shirt. Too me… wearing a chain outside the shirt is a bit flaunty and begs to be ripped off your neck.

If your muscular or slim the 20in will look good around a muscular/ slim neck etc. but if your a bigger guy I think 22-24 is def the go to.

I'm in here desperately scrolling for this comment. I'm a big guy all around. Measuring string around my neck and I kept coming up with 28" as the right length/look. Anything smaller on my big frame looks like I cheaped out/strangling myself.
My 20 inch 10 mm fits more like a choker I love it. Just purchased two 22" 5mm and still trying to get used to the extra length. Also got an 18" 8mm but had to add an extension on the back cuz it was a little tight. Have 17 inch neck
I wear a 14k 3mm 24” DC franco for a my daily. When I bought it it was supposed to be 22” but was labeled incorrectly but I wasn’t mad and 24” has really grown on me. It will be perfect when I am able to get a pendant for it.

Got a 22” 5mm Franco and after a year thinking about shortening it to 20”.
Same situation here. I thought 22” was perfect but I got a custom pendant and decided to wear it on a 20” nylon necklace for a while to try and I prefer the look of the 20” much more.
It's all preference and size . I wear 2 22 inch ( my go to) and 2 20 inch all Jacoje flat curbs tri color set up 3 5.5 mm and 1 7mm . SMASH SMASH SMASHHHHHH
I own multiple sizes, but I prefer the 20 inch because im a muscular dude and the shorter chain makes you look more aesthetic.

I have an 18 inch kneck so for me a 6mm rope at 22 inches looks the best. The 22 inch length is long enough to fit comfortably without being too long.

I CURRENTLY HAVE A 5MM ROPE AT 24 THAT I STACK WITH A 4.5MM CUBAN AT 22 BOTH JACOJE. I WANT TO DO ANOTHER SET UP WITH A 20" 7MM FLAT CURB WITH A 22" 8MM FLAT CURB. BUT THAT YACHT LINK WAS LOOKING NICE
And that’s why I went with a 21 inch Cuban.
@Timeless Era Beats to be honest. It was just a starter chain. I’m sending an 8 mm for a 11 mm but this time I’m going 24. 21 is just to short.
Another cool very edicatonal video. Thanks for sharing. I have a nice 20" Rope Chain. I love it but I have gained a lot of weight over the years and I can no longer wear it. I think I would need to add inches to it. Braden, Can I add inches to a diamond cut rope chain? Sadly I grew old & fat due to health problems. 22 is my perfect length, I have tried 24 and its too long. Haven't tried 20 but I know that would be too short to the point it would tuck itself in. I am 6 2 215 though with a 16 inch neck I believe. Also layering or stacking 14kt and 18kt looks so bad with the different shades of yellow. 14kt looks amazing on its own but when you put 18kt next to it they both just look wrong. Same with 18kt on its own or with other 18kt looks good but yeah mixing the different shades of yellow gold is uglyyyy
What you think about different purity for the pendants? Example a 18kt chain but a 14kt or 10kt pendant that’s diamond flooded.

Won't touch anything else as far as chain lengths go. If I have a large-ish pendant though 20 Inch is what I would stick with. In fact, I am wearing a 20 Inch chain with a Morgan Dollar on it!
