Bonus points for using RED paint...... It will make it easier to figure out where you left it last time it was used

Your ingenuity never fails to impress Mike ! And getting one of your many, many projects finished 😁
The sound of the stumps leaving some roots behind..... awsome 😎
And the rain and hail finish on the paintwork...... unique 😂😂

The 363 mile long Erie Canal ran from the Atlantic Ocean via the Hudson River to the Great Lakes. To remove the stumps for the canal they used several devices, one was similar to yours and pulled by Oxen. Which was similar in concept to the wheel. Shalom/gw

Nice work. I just finished a crane for the back of my 2500 Chevy. Some square tubing, a couple of old angle iron bed frames, some pipe and a small Harbor Freight winch and I have a way to lift heavy stuff into my pickup.

We took an old two-person saw blade and welded a small i-beam down the edge of it. Then welded the ibeam end onto a SSQA plate. attached that to the front of the tractor. You just put the saw blade up against the base of the tree..as low to the ground as you can stand. and you jog the tractor back and forth while steering the blade gently deeper into the cut as you make the sawing motion. We cleared 5 acres of scrub trees that way.

Have you considered putting a kickstand on the front of it so it stands upright while you are hooking it to the tree you are pulling? And maybe just a couple of hooks on the sides near the top so you can wrap the chain around it for storage?

Hey Kleeman, I am caught between many unfinished projects. I am retired now so I can’t use the not enough time because of work excuse. I just have to own up to procrastination. I have made a stump puller not quite like yours but the principle is the same. I;had an old steel 4” gate post and had a car wheel rim cut in half, to allow the post to pivot. I may regret that as it could slip. I had some old weld on eyes which were welded at the top of the post. They will take the shorter chain for tha stump and the longer chain for the tractor. Your show that in principle I shoul achieve a similar result. I’m waiting for paint to dry and harden before I give it a blast. Your property seems quite a relaxing environment.

Leverage, leverage, and leverage, and if the doesn’t work use leverage, and maybe a snatch block hooked to the leverage, turns the little machine into a hulk of a machine. I like having projects waiting for me, and yes a couple aren’t done “YET” but hey, they’ll get done, its just later than sooner, thanks for the tag along with ya video sir.

I came in here now at supper time, and got on this 'Tube to see if somebody's brain is more active than mine. Well, here we are.
This looks to be just exactly what I need. So, tomorrow I'm going up to my 'shop and build one of these 'pullers' too.
Thanks for this, I think I'll subscribe now and see what else you have 'Kleeman'.

I hate seeing so9meone using a grinder with one hand. My son who's a welder was in a confined space and couldn't use his face sheild. The ikicked back and tore through his face from the bottom of his lip to just above his eye. he was rushed to the hospitlal where he got 35 stiches to his face. He went through 6 lazer treatments to try and repair the damage. His face will never be normal
