I am always amazed at how the Master and crew move these ferries in tight linkspans when vehicles drive on or off! The pier staff and ferry crews work in unision too! ....old Tich.

She should be at Adrossan every year along with M.V Hebridean Isles if needed. Because Hebridean Isles and Isle of Arran have done seemingly no sailings throughout this month every morning I've been hearing that sailings are cancelled. I know it's the weather but they should wait and see if the weather dies down and then do a sailing instead of cancelling the service for the whole day. The Hebrides and the Clansman seem to cope alot better in bad weather than the Hebridean Isles and Isle of Arran!

I think in some of the weather we had this winter, the Heb and the Clansman would still have been cancelled. It’s the capacity at times when there is backlog due to cancellations. That’s what the Heb or Clansman would solve.

Indeed, a bit better than her sister, Clansman has lifeboats in front of the funnel but clansman doesn't have the exhaust extensions, its a mix and match with what one you think is nicer but Hebrides is better for seaworthy reasons too, Clansman has a lighter engine block where Hebrides has something like 100 tonnes more making her vibrate less. Her bow ramp is slower than Clansman's though. They are the best of the fleet those two.

We don't know that for sure as it depends on the route, I wouldn't say Finlaggan was better than Hebrides and she is much newer. Loch Seaforth may be a good boat, a great boat even, but I don't know if I will like her better than Hebrides. And yes, she is the Uig triangle vessel. This only documents her time in Ardrossan like the new sequel video does for Clansman. Thanks for watching.
