I work in informal settlements for more 8years.......I walk into a house and a big trench is passing 247carrying dirty water into the river....it's hazardous.... We should want something different for people. Actually this the first timw, peopl, houses and livelihood have been washed away. But mostly the houses usually fill with water the extent people can't access them recede then it's business as usual. We should want a different life. Dignity for people and that's why Late MP Ken Okoth i remains forever cherished coz he knew, understand and was a visionary....living in slum wasn't story za jaba but alijua and so had blue print to better peoples lives
