Can the word "Batao" be considered as a formal conversation anywhere Mr Raj Ji?
Also, just see the person who's sitting in front of you. He's the former Corps Commander and the former IDS Chief with the rank of Lt Gen. If we just leave beside these formalities too, there's a way of talking to a person who's senior than you in terms of age also. Talking to an elder person, I Mean, an elementary school going kid also is very well aware of this thing.
Though you haven't done this thing intentionally or you must be having this dialect but yeah, you can shift to "Bataiye or Batayein" at least while talking to a senior person than you.
    Regards.

@@prasanth5289 to his defence i would like to put this argument that when such a huge personality and respectable person is sitting in front of you, you sometimes fumble and also can't always think of the right word to speak at the time also he has to keep him engaged in the conversation and put the right type of question in a right way, continously listen to him and also think of what next question should be. I think we should cut him some slack it's not as easy at it looks. These minor mistakes can be foreshadowed by the fact that he invited a HERO on the podcast to spread awareness.

Raj, PLEASE NOTE :- when a person is talking or replying to your questions that too a TOP Army Official, always make it a point to look into their eyes as a sign of respect. For Eg; - @ 46:00 and during many other time , you are simply looking elsewhere that too for more than 2 seconds, which will makes the person feel unheard. If it was someone else the interview would have ended then and there itself. I salute the army officer for his patience with you.

Brilliant guest, the podcast had potential to be equally brilliant had the host maintained a respectful environment. Him engaging informally with such a distinguished person, was making me uncomfortable right through the screen.
Or maybe we differ in a sense of showing respect idk but looking at the other comments many people felt the same .

Having a legendary army officer on the podcast is a true privilege.
You are doing a fantastic job, and the show keeps getting better with every episode!
To question in the end ‘Do we need such guests?’ is to overlook the value they bring. They are a living legend, and their presence is a gift to the listeners.
If someone chooses not to listen, that’s their prerogative, but let’s not doubt the worth of such esteemed guests.

Neither salaries nor perks, from any Offr ever ! Least, from Dy Army Cdr Lt Gen Satish Dua- renowned for his Uri OPs !
If there were 10 Qs u asked to such an Combat Operational Gen, I expected u to limit ur 8 Qs probing only d operational decision making, at Corps, Army HQ , Min of Def, PMO levels , but u switched on to newer aspects, every Q : things every aspirant kid checks from Public Domain, Army ads, missing out on Uri Ops done first time by person who seized opportunity from Sporting Def Min straightaway, during his visit there! Gen Hooda, Army Cdr d Boss in J & K couldn't have thru proper channe ls, by any Govt !😢 U wasted missing Uri OPs by switching to a new Q everytime- thus 1st & last Q OK from this matured living legend ! Any other Sr Def Offr would be cheesed off by every new topic Q - away from Uri OPs!

An officer & a gentleman. One of India's finest. He probably did not get a first class education in terms of schooling. But he's done well in terms of remaining true to his convictions. We need people like this in all theatres of life who are gentle, but won't mince words. There is a certain kind of a diplomacy that is weak & is devoid of truth (and its associated conviction) that is seen prevalent among various sections of Indian society. Probably more among the youth. It is refreshing to see an old lion roar. A true son of India.
