A day like this doesn't come around too often where everything to try works and the fish you hook are too big!! An amazing day on the water going toe to toe with some proper big fish and putting a nice one in the esky for a fresh feed. It doesn't get any better than that! Hope you enjoy this one as much as I did making it legends!!

@@CoastalChaosAdventures its my own creation but its similar to candy salmon fillet the tuna into steaks rub with chilli flakes rock salt black pepper smoke for 6hrs every hr based with gold treacle , best woods to use is dried fruit tree i use apple tree wood

First, Congratulations to You & Talia on the birth of your Daughter!!! I can honestly say it's been a while since I've seen parents so keen and eager to get all stuck in with Parenting!!! How's Momma Tal and Baby Chaos doing?
Yet another successful day out on the Big Blue!!! Mack Tuna, Trevali, Bluefin and I'm assuming a rather large Cobia who's runs and defiance might just bridge the gap between having a fish on with "Shoulders" to having something on you have to measure with horsepowers!! I know I was really looking forward to seeing that monster of a fish, but then that's why it's called fishing, and not just "Catching"!! Overall though this has to be a pretty perfect day out on the water, the action was fast and furious, the sea looked pleasantly calm just the odd 1 or 2 foot high swell leading to a really good day, minus the appearance of the Tax Collector!! The drone footage looked very cool, I loved when you started to follow that single Frigate or whatever that Bird was. Just a couple of Hunters looking for some quarry to stalk and harvest.
Things have been okay here, the snow is gone except for a shaded patch of my back garden and I'm looking for and electric Bike for getting around town on my own rather than the Assistance Bus. Also, looking at how stable those sit on top fishing kayaks are and if I can find a decent used one at a fair price, it would be easier to store than a tinny and I might get more use out of it being able to put it on a car roof as easy as in the box of a pick-up truck, thus increasing warm weather opportunities. I sold my Hunting bow as my right shoulder is really struggling to pull back the 70lbs I require to launch a 33" projectile tipped with a broadhead towards any of our ungulate species. I will be putting some of the money aside for a Lee Enfield .303 British or a .308 (possibly the full stock Zastava M70 .308) and a good recoil pad to aid in comfort. That's about all that's new here. Much Love to You and Tal and Baby Chaos!!! How are Indi and Bazz getting on with their new attention seeking mate? Animals are generally really great with newborns and tend to bond very strongly with them, so don't get too upset if you get a disgruntled grunt or growl if you take Miss Chaos away from them or out of their view. It's just their protective nature and recognizing You, Tal and Baby as the Alpha's of your pack and while the baby is newer and smaller, dogs seem to get they are still the pack and not the leaders. Hey there my main man!! We are all doing really well thank you 🙏 just starting to settle in to a routine at home now and little Abella is super happy and chill !! We both have a good bit of time off together to take it all in and hopefully don’t miss out on all little experiences :) the puppy’s are good! Barry is obsessed haha gone in to over protective mode on the house and every time she makes a noise he’s squeaking outside the window haha
Snow is gone already!! Does it start to settle in to new shoots and greenery when the snow disappears? I could imagine that would look amazing:)
Pitty about the bow but one thing passed on to another and in return you’ll have another hunting rifle to stalk your dinner with. It’s always fun working out and dialing in new toys ;). You’d be surprised those kayaks are super stable! And you can always look in to an additional outrigger to add a bit more stability again 👌👌 there’s some pretty elaborate setups out there haha
@@CoastalChaosAdventures Abella, that's a stunner for a name, fitting for a little Icon!!! Yeah, once the snow goes it starts greening up with new grass shoots and also dandelion weeds but, after that the trees start to leaf out and then Summer isn't too far off. I'll post a video of what I end up getting after I price out what I want and when it can be put together and I imagine I'll still need to save a few bucks. Cheers for the kayak info I'd like to find something compact around 10ft. So I could store it inside easier. I'll see if one pops up over the Summer in or at least near my price range. Also the Tealeaf Trevally, Inrecon it’s a Brassy Trevally (Caranx papuensis) just goes under a few common names. Anyway thanks for the vid.

going light like 30lb leader may make the fight funner but it causes the sharks to learn that a easy meal comes around a wreck. get those fish in the boat as soon as possible. better to rip a lip off and the fish lives then it get bitten in half and wasted because of light line and drag
Yes I do try and go heavy when I can but the fish are pretty used to heavy tackle inshore so it’s hard to get one to bite if you go too heavy… bit of a catch 22 with the sharks haha hard to win!
You need a pedometer on yuh! Do some serious laps!
