Je suis un ancien parigot (je vis sur Toulon maintenant) mais des que j'entends ce genre de musique, je me revois flâner sur les quais, parlant avec les bouquinistes, regarder la Seine couler... Que de souvenirs merveilleux ❤

It was actually a long-driving in the French Riviera. Slept in Valbone, visited monaco, Nice, Cannes, Lyon, passed by the countryside fields (like Claude Monet landscapes!), slept in one of the Inns In Carcassone castle (so beautiful), slept in Lourdes. Had French meals of course. Ah, how I wish I could go there again and again. If only I have much money.

Some time ago, as the sun set in Paris my lover and I walked beneath the eiffal tower and then went to get ice cream. Somewhere over the river someone played something like this. Later, it began to rain gently and we boarded a train, the lights had gone to orange and the sky to purple, complementary hues on a painting of the city at dusk. We took a small dinner in the booth of a resturant, the food was good and the waiters surly. Night had come now and we walked winding streets under spotty moonlight to the tomb of Napoleon. The accordion caught us on the wind on occasion. A few notes drifting across the water. Out of sequence but never unwelcome. Later we retired to bed. That time is past. But the music's still there.
I'm at a lovely cafe on a lunch date with the book I'm currently reading. For some reason this aesthetic cafe has very loud pop music playing that makes reading nearly impossible for me. No worried though! Just popped my head phones in and turned on this playlist. Now I can enjoy my book! 📖
