Incrimental nitric dosing is best for aqua regia, as there is no excess nitric being wasted and the denox step removed. Also saves nitric. You add your hcl and drip small amounts of nitric untill gold is disolved.
Great job on procedures but such small amount I feel not worth the chemical needed to refine it. I am sure this was more for just filming than for making a profit from the metal. Nothing wrong in doing that but you should tell people in videos when this type filming is being done. Some may get wrong idea or conclusion and think they may profit with these small batches. Myself I collect over time and wait to process when I can do it in Kilos of a given material. Makes for more economical use of the chemicals for processing.
Thanx mate. Depense of country where you live freind. In USA1 kg nitric cost about 80 us dolars, but here an in lot diferent country i pay half us dolar for kg nitric so or me is profitabile most of time. But your are ryte, it is much beter with biger amount.

Where I live there isn't a local dealer or shop for Nitric I either have to ship it which is very exspensive and doubles the cost because of it being hazardous. Or I can make it myself which is for me the easiest way. I just distill it using sulfuric acid and potassium nitrate both easy found at local hardware store. The big cost in that is the glassware for distillation.
