- The Pursuit S248 is an “entry-level” center console that’s quite hard to consider entry-level since it’s so loaded with features that belie that moniker. Probably the only thing that is entry-level about it is its trailerable size. Even in the standard version it’s well equipped to compete in this highly aggressive market segment.

$200,000 is entry level?
My old Robalo 240 had a 175 gallon tank and twin F150 Yammies. I bought it in 2005 1 year used for 65k. Crazy to pay $200k for a single engine CC with small offshore run tank.
For those contemplating this size CC, save big money, plus get 2 engines ...go for a used 15 year or so boat that's been at least half ass maintained.
This boat is nice, but no way Jose pay 200k.

I saw the 248dc at Toronto boat show, well built but they ask 260k Canadian for it, way way too much money. I paid 159 for a Robalo 2019 same size. Some boat companies seem to have took the (Covid taxes??? , inflation ) times 3. Those price are crazy high

Of course the fact that the giant outboard was mounted 5 feet off the stern didn't impede the fishability was never mention. Some of these reviews are ridiculous.
Got excited, saw the pricing... impressive boat, disappointed in pricing to build any type of loyalty to someone looking to get into a 24-27' family fun and fishing boat.

4:05, if you are getting enough water onto the deck to flow out that door in the transom, you have bigger problems! Very well built boat, but with the price tag of close to $200k, lot of other options out there.

I want a boat for just day cruising and learning how to boat. Is this a good option or would I be paying too much for the fishing stuff?
Yes, this boat is a good option. Don’t worry about the fishing stuff. It doesn’t add much to the price and it will help you sell the boat when the time comes!

I like the boat but hardly an entry level boat at $200K+. There are other options out there that are perfectly good boats for much less. My wife and make pretty good money and we can’t afford this boat.

Is a 350 hp outboard really needed? This adds cost to an entry level boat that is making it unfortable to most.

It burns a lot but 4gal/15.7 per mIn is impossible.
"Entry Level" for the 1%'s but not for us blue collar workers. Pricing in CT $218,000 is NOT a entry level price. I'll stick to being in my canoe and hanging out on the beach leaving with a smile on my face because I have some cash still in my pocket. WAYYYY over priced.
