This dude legit has Giant Hands. Make those controllers look small
Exactly 😂
I was just about to say 😂
It's because of the camera lens he's using
They are tbh
It's because PS controllers are shit if you have big hands or slightly above average hands. I don't know why PS make controllers like this when they know that adults too use their controllers.

I wish we could get a PS5 controller that looks exactly and feels exactly like the PS4. The PS5 controller is okay but I find it's just a little too bulky
Dude just use your ps4 controller on the ps5 lmfao easy fix
So you want a ps4 controller 😑
@@maskoffjack I don't think you can use it to play PS5 games??? I think it will only work to play PS4 games on PS5 console. Just got my PS5 and have not tried yet so maybe i'm wrong
@@maskoffjack not possible
@@tjhicks3600 yes it is
I think the PS4 controller is more comfortable than the PS5 controller. The only good thing about the PS5 controller are the features for example adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and the built in mic
Keep telling your self that
I've concluded the PS4 controller is still technically better after a few months of using the PS5 controllers. Yes the PS5 controller has better technology, slightly better build quality & heftier ergonomics BUT..... jumping back on PS4 compatible games the DualShock 4 is lighter weight; has better input response & longer battery life keeping DS4 in higher regard for me.
It's true, thats why theres lightweight mouse now under 70grams, when I used a 120+ gram mouse my tennis elbow flared up quick, but with a light one, i can play for 12 hours non-stop., 217gram vs 280gram. PS5 controller is only more comfortable if u play under 1 hour a day. But over 1 hour, DS4 controller will be more comfortable and less fatigue to hold. since its so heavy it can flare up peoples tennis elbow/wrist issues.
Trye
I just got PS5. Played first time yesterday. And i do feel the PS4 controller is more comfortable.

not going to lie, i prefer the dual shock 4. it’s everything a controller needs, feels great in my hands. also the ps5 controller in my hands, i can’t find a sweet spot to hold it where it’s comfortable 🤷♂️
Same! 💔
Same, I noticed that I got worse in games. The dualshock 4 is way easier to use than the dualshock 5. I am way better at gaming with the dualshock 4.
@@samigns same, Also using the series s and i get like 2x the better gamer on fps games
The new one is too big, I feel like the thumbsticks are a bit too low.
And I haven't seen a headphone jack on the PS5 controller yet
Hey guys this is the only month where you can finally watch champchong with a moustache so be quick limited time only lol
As a playstation 5 owner, the dualshock 4 is better.
Ye
Yes at first I thought thats because I'm not used to it but after hours of playing with it I decided to go back to my old ds4 and then again everythings felt better and now I'm playing with my lovely ds4 all the games and in my oponion it's the best controller ever made specially the design (p.s. I dont have big hands)
could not disagree more. i will say, the dualshock 4 feels more naturally comfortable to me, but once you try the Dualsense, you realize the triggers are so much better, the rumble, the rumble is soooo emmersive, the thumbsticks have better texture and are much more durable and stable. literally my only complaint is that it is slightly heavy and not as naturally comfy. but all the features it has and the build quality makes up for it. it is a MUCH better controller. also, its so quiet. the buttons on it are not loud or clicky. this is super helpful when u dont wanna wake up your girlfriend sleeping next to you. the select and start buttons are better too, they are raised up more and easier to press. the USB -C port being on the top is better and the port itself is a better more durable port than the tiny breakable micro usb ports on the dualshock 4. i have no idea why you would say the dualshock 4 is better.

I think the PS5 controller is fantastic but Sony really had something with the PS4 design and while its design is way past dated from giving just a slight refresh on the PS1s design, it was just really comfortable and ergonomically comfortable to hold, I mean its also the reason why I still love my series x controller and why I own 2 because its really comfortable to use and with the series x design has reached its current peak, at least until xbox gets a hold of how to add adaptive triggers to the current xbox controller designs
I know I'm 8 months behind, but I think the nee design is to be for comfort and have a better grip.
I don't like how the duelsence tapers where your bottom two fingers are. The duelshock is far more comfortable in the hand
I sold my PS4 Slim when I got the PS5 and I honestly miss the DualShock. The DualSense is objectively better but the DS4 has a longer lasting battery, and the overall shape is nice for fighting games. Also, I really liked that heavy rumble from the DS4; it was especially noticeable in games like God of War. It's a shame you can't use DS4 in PS5 games, but at least I can still use it for PC and backwards compatible titles. I do like them both though, but it's nice to be able to switch it up a bit.
You actually can

The size difference is insane, loving the content 💪👊
talking about the hands or the controller🤣
My opinion is that the PS4 controller feels way better to play with and aim with. The fat ass ends of the ps5 controller just feel weird
After 7+ months, the PS5 controller is still great and no issues. I can't say that about the PS4 controller, which had some very questionable design issues and cheap parts; including the option/share button being buried in the surface and the Micro USB port being on the bottom where the controller normally rests when placed on a flat surface, causing strain to the port's connection. Both issues no longer exist in the PS5 Dual Sense.
Wait wheres the aux cord (or whatever tf its called) on the dualsense? I never noticed that, what a good upgrade

How'd you like it now after long use
Just picked a dualsene up today too.. it’s really nice and i figured out a way to connect it to PS4 and it is just satisfyingly good!!😱
I got it 2 weeks ago definitely awesome
I dont like the dualsense at all. Dualshock 4 was my favorite controller ever followed closely by Xbox 360. I'm kind of bummed
Ps4 is waay easier to handle than Ps5 more flexible n less tiring over the course of longplays
Thanks for the information, very good point
I might buy ps4 contrpller becuase of your comment
I own both the PS4 and the PS5. The PS5 controller’s battery doesn’t last as long as the PS4 remote. I can play for many hours with with the PS4 without its battery getting low while the PS5 remote’s battery dies on me after playing for 4 hours. The PS4 remote charges faster than the PS5 remote too!
I highly recommend the silicone/rubber controller covers. They give the controller a nice feel and grip.
What ones did u get?
I can confirm that, the comfort was much better with those palm grips
PlayStation 5 controller is awful .. it's too big for my hands I have small skinny hands .. it feels so uncomfortable and have to stretch my thumbs to reach the anaolog stick. The new Xbox controllers feel much better. So disappointed really wanted the ps5
Ok.
thats what i think too lol feels uncomfortable when i saw it

I have never liked the black accent piece in the PS5 controller, so when the midnight black one came out I was all for that.
PS5 Controller: This is better than PS4 controller
PS6 Controller: This is better than PS5 controller
Just by looking at these controllers side by side, it seems to me that the new DualSense controller for me is better than the DualShock4. Just saying. Size wise anyway. Also very excited to test out the adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and things like that too when I get my PS5. If explanations about the haptic feedback are anything to go by from what I've heard, it sounds to me that the new DualSense will be a HUGE generational leap from the DualShock. As well as the adaptive triggers too.
Hate the new controller! I play double claw on all my FPS games and It's really painful as they so much thicker. It annoys me that I can't just use my Dual shock 🥶
@Goki not on Fortnite
Wait really? I never felt like there's a difference and I also play double claw. Felt the same as a PS4 controller to me but maybe because my hands are big.
I love your videos and I can't go a day without them. Thanks man👍👍👍
I grew up with a Sega Master System as my first console. Holding a PS1 controller for the first time was life changing. After that ive been happy with any PS controllers
Small/Mid sized hands= PS4 controller wins ergonomically.
Large Hands= PS5 controller wins ergonomically.
Features and Build quality are obviously superior on the DualSense as it is next gen(stick drift might be more common though compared to DualShock).
I'm not a big gamer but I'm trying to find the perfect controller for myself on my PC since my uncomfortable Xbox One controller broke. I narrowed it down between these two, and your comment was the info I was looking for. I'm going with the PS4-style controller. Thanks!
Im my personal opinon, the ps4 remote is so much better. The 5 remote makes alot of stylistic choices that just kinda prohibit gameplay like i swear the directional buttons dont work right 100% of the time, the travel distance between the analog and the d pad is more noticable in compairison. I dont like the rounded buttons and the haptic triggers cause more issues than they add emersion.
Imagine if Xbox And PlayStation did a collab
I think i did see a video from a guy who took appart the ps5 controller and checked the inside components by their serial key, he told that on the ps5 the components used for the sticks are much cheaper build and will not even last half the time a ps4 controller would (basically the sticks wear out much faster on ps5 controller) That said im not sure about this claim but for me its a HUGE difference. It looks nice and it will probably please a lot of people, but if the main controlling (sticks) will wear out 4x faster, i would consider not buying it. And maybe he was just faking facts who knows. Im using a ps4 controller now for like 3-4 years allmost daily and i cant feel or see any problem with them and they work allmost like the first day
The R2 button becoming loose easily is a big problem! I've just sent my 2nd controller off to Sony for replacement! I've fixed that problem myself with PS4 controllers (only because they were years old & out of warranty). 2 launch day ps5 controllers sent off to Sony for same problem within 6 months old is shocking compared to the life of my launch day ps4 controllers which still going strong now, some TLC needed mind! lol
@@bengejuknowit3048 Like i said, using my ps4 controller 4 years, allmost everyday if not everyday... no wearing out, all buttons are smooth, no getting stuck, anything bad at all.. so yeah be carefull with all those shiny new products (new phones, new headsets new new new) its all money making
@@andreniki8864 i noticed that my ps3 controller lasts longer than my ps4 controller and is way more durable i also noticed that sony is making their controllers cheaper
I have bought 4 controllers and my sticks spin by itself
The PS5 controller is surprisingly large. It reminds me of the original Xbox Duke which was too big for some people. I remember getting the smaller version Xbox controller after using The Duke and it was difficult for me to adapt at first because the new controller seemed so tiny in comparison. The PS5 controller seems almost as big as the original Xbox Duke which has me wondering if some people will think it’s too big. Personally, I like the large size but I remember on Xbox after switching to the smaller version, I didn’t go back to the big one. I’ve got to wonder if people will complain about the large size. I’m curious to see if we get a smaller version like we did on Xbox.
lol you must not remember the Duke haha the duke was twice as large lol
Definitely not that big it’s about the same size maybe smaller than the current Xbox and the ps4 controller is rather small
“I liked the big but then went to the small bit it doesn’t feel like the big and I’m used to the big” bro learn how to collect your thoughts 😂😅
@@DB-lr6kl What I’m saying is that no matter what, I’ll adapt and be fine with it. It’s not a problem for me but some people have major problems dealing with change. I have a friend who always has to program his controller. If he can’t change the buttons to what he’s accustomed to, he can’t or won’t play. I watched him struggle for 10 minutes trying to turn off the PS5. He couldn’t do it because he kept long pressing the PS button and getting nowhere. It’s a short press on the PS5, not a long press like PS4. Now he hates the PS5. All because the new controls are too confusing for him.
I’vd got big hands and I don’t like the PS5 controller. It’s too big. I prefer smaller controllers
Thank *GOD*
I choosed PlayStation over xbox
Well tbh according to me not a single shit uses the Xbox so a good choice mine is also a ps5, going to unbox soon
Xbox messed up bringing the same controller to a new generation. All the care about is services, not the experience.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Xbox contrlller is more comfortable
@@dogpd3 it depends on the person

Honesty when they release the ps5 slim they should make a identical controller to the ps4 but it has the same features as a regular ps5 controller
I play claw so i just wanna know if it feels the same.
Im playing to claw on a ps5 Controller and I dont know if the ps4 or ps5 Controller is better
I'm struggling to get used to it. Everything feels off for me when playing games like Fifa and AC odyssey. Has anybody else had a big adjustment period?
Yup. Same here. It’s incredibly uncomfortable to use. DS4 is much more comfortable. I’ll be using the Ds4 controller on my Ps5 for the ps4 games I have
@@dogpd3 I have been using my ps5 for 2 months and have only played for 2 hours. luckily with the remote play i can use my dualshock on my ps5 games but no vibration. Sony would have to shake its ass and release a patch to be able to decide which controller is right for us. imagine the next 8 years, playing with a controller you don't like?
@@titvitequelcriss I turned off vibration and adaptive triggers. It made it bearable for me to play
The Dualsense is very uncomfortable

i KNOW the dualsense controller is better on a technical level. it supports the new sony gimmicks, has a built-in microphone, and type c port, plus the options and share buttons are much easier to press.
but the dualshock 4 controller is the most comfortable controller i've ever held in my entire life. it finally broke on me one day, and i miss using it
Dualshock 4 is way better bcuz it's easy to hold for any teenager/child and adult and I think it feels better in ur hands and I ain't being biased I have used both.
I can’t believe I have to wait till Thursday as I’m in the U.K. and that’s when they’re releasing it over there
The new controller is absolutely amazing!!!! The ends rub my hands too! Big hands problems. My C40 was my all time favorite controller for the ps4.

Anybody get the reference??
Playing ps4 games with a dual sense is just mind blowingly better you feel more accurate and it’s a much better feel in the hands of
if you have small hands ✋ then you will notice the difference.
i find it uncomfortable compared to the ps4. Also, its slippery...recommend buying a grip cover for the controller
yea i can't play for more than 1 hour my right hand will start really hurting i have average hands for a guy im 5'6 so yea they aren't even that small but feel like the ps5 is too big and too heavy compared to the smaller lighter ps4
Main thing in my opinion that matters is how comfortable the controllers are. dualshock is mostly really good in other aspects too. Those differences in features for me personally are not that important. I feel like dualsense is too sharp, bulky, pretty rough texture to be holding for a long time and overall uncomfortable to play with. (I have pretty average sized hands for an adult dude)
Dualshock 4 is far better than Dualsense 5
because I don't have ps5
The short answer is yes, especially when you have big hands
The PS4 controller is more robust than PS5s controller! Only in the last couple of years did I notice the R2 button not respond in 2 of my launch day ps4 controllers (which I fixed). It's just over 6 months of PS5 being out & I've had 2 launch day controllers sent back to Sony (within last 2 months) because of R2 buttons becoming loose! When it works, PS5 controller is amazing but something needs to be done, because it's a serious design fault!
You nailed it bud, the Dualsense has amazing tech but because of that tech specifically the adaptive triggers I foresee many Dualsense controller's triggers failing, the thing is to create that pressure feel it uses tiny springs inside that are very prompt to break easily, check out ifixit's teardown of the Dualsense and you understand.
And yeah it does get sweaty and the dirt is hard to rub it off from those lil icons on grips
i "don't" like that the dualsens is not as seamless as the dualshock4. this controller will collect a lot of dirt over time, if you don't clean it at least once a week with a toothpick.
Champ your videos are out of this world keep up the good work
I get pain using the dual sense its massive compared to the PS4 the construction however feels much better with the dualsense like material wise but the shape of the controller is terrible.
Its prob cuz its 70 grams heavier too. thats a huge difference, try using a 70 gram mouse, then switch to a 140g mouse. Ur most likely to get tennis elbow/wrist issues with the heavier mouse.
And its too heavy too what were they thinking at Sony? Lets make the most uncomfortable controller ever and sell it at a complete insane price

Hey, champ! I been really liking your videos. Keep it up!
The Dual Sense uses the exact same joystick mechanism as the DS4. The difference is a change in one part on the mechanisms to a different plastic and the mechanisms have been rotated 90 degrees.
The feel is actually different. I have a red PS4 controller that's hardly been used. Basically new. Used the DualSense more than it already haha and the DualSense still has a better grip.
You deserve more
Views man you been hard at work on this channel for years
No. It’s actually worse. Weighs a ton and is uncomfortable as hell. Too big and bulky. Hand cramps after an hour especially playing sports games. Yeah if you’re just holding it in your hands it’s fine. If you’re working the triggers and buttons it’s terrible for the average size hands.
this was the comment i was looking for .. i just bought a ps5 few hours ago and played 3 fifa games and man the gameplay animations everything is so much better it feels so real but the controller is so uncomfortable to hold in my hands like it triggers me to put it down its so annoying on the side of my hand .. why tf did they create a controller like that
"I never liked these (dualshock4) sticks." "The (dualsense) thumb sticks are better."
Lol, the thumb sticks are literally the same off the shelf parts in both controllers.
Not true the thumbsticks on the dual sense are longer, the tension on the thumbsticks is higher and on the sides there is a textured grip which is not there on the ds4
The mechanism inside is actually different. I can feel the difference when I went from ps4 to ps5
They should have made interchangeable D-Pad with analog stick for offset analogs for fps games.

If the battery dies completely you can simply swap them instead of needing your controller repaired/replaced.
And you can simply get a charging pack.
