Yes! We always taught our children the following from Philippians 2
1. Jesus knew who He was (confident He was God’s son)
2. Jesus walked clothed in humility
3. We should have confidence that we are God’s children
4. We should walk in that confidence clothed in humility
Confidence without humility is arrogance.
Humility without confidence is pathetic.
So confidence or humility out of balance with the other does not represent the beauty and power of God. But when in balance they sure “smell” good (aroma of Christ)!
