With the OBS plugin is still possible to use the second audio track for the Twitch VOD in order to avoid copyright? With this configuration will you hear music on UA-cam during the live? Thanks for the tutorials!
Thanks for this update on these tools. I had always thought that the Multiple RTMP plugin caused some performace issues and jumped to Restream. I might have to revisit the plugin... although I love the Restream chat overlay (to not show on screen obviously).
I have been using two copies of obs an old & new versions as I have been swapping between Twitch & UA-cam since they let partners stream on other platforms some time ago. This seems way easier! Gonna try it & thanks for the info.
thankyou so much for this. I've been contemplating to go cross platform and now I have. and feel more confident doing so. I've just added in YT and I already had Kick set up. we shall see how it goes.
Hi there, thanks for the tips. Just a some questions: I installed Multiple RTMP Outputs OBS Plugin and set streamkey+url for UA-cam as a target on it while my "main" service on OBS was Twitch already. Now, are the livestream infos (title, category, tags) the same for both Twitch and UA-cam? I mean, is this automatic or I need to write all the livestream infos in different tabs? If yes, which tab? Thanks in advance for your help! :)
Thanks for putting this together @Andilippi - especially that tip about combined chat viewing with Streamerbot! Forgetting our computers for a moment, two streams of the same quality will require double the bandwidth up, yes?
Depends if you use a restreaming agent or not. Using the OBS plugin, your PC is uploading two streams. Using something like restream, your computer uploads one stream to their server. Their server then sends two streams to their destinations. So your bandwidth stays the same
I'm seriously considering simulcasting not but my only concern is if my PC can run the Multiple RTMP Outputs OBS Plugin. Otherwise, I may check out the other mentioned option Restream.
ago The OBS studio multi stream plugin isn't working. Could you tell me what Version of OBS AND what version of the Multistream plugin did you install? I read around a lot of online articles that the newest version of OBS doesn't support the plugin or something related. Can you tell me which versions of both are you running? Thank you!
Hi Andi, have you got content showing how to use streamerbot for both UA-cam and twitch at the same time? Commands, redeemables etc? Bring in the rock! 😂
I think Restream is perfect for the Vertical plugin. You go on a lot of platforms with the multistream plugin, while the vertical plugin goes for 2 vertical platforms like tiktok and youtube shorts I guess.
Thnx Andi! Question though, how did you connect Restream to OBS? Is it through the RTMP plugin? If so, I'm fecked because after installing the plugin (OBS 29+) there's no extra dock I can add. Did you add Restream through OBS itself? Because (please correct me if I'm wrong) isn't that the way to get the branding on your stream? I'd appreciate your help, though I understand if you're busy! :) thnx!
Do you think with the encoding settings you can set one to Nvenc the other to x264 if you are dual pc streaming? Also does having both chat windows lets say youtube and twitch separately but on the same scene does that break the guidelines?
Hey, Im having problems and the error is when i start stream on the plugin it tries to connect for a while and it shows an error "Can't connect to server"
I assume there is a way (maybe in streamlabs API somewhere??) to show both super chats/YT memberships and twitch subsciptions/bits right? You just need a separate alert box for the YT stuff...?? Otherwise this is good news.
I figured it out though I use OBS Studio for streaming I pull the browser sources from the API from Streamlabs. So I just set up a bonus alert browser source to read from YT and it's all good! @@Andilippi
So basically Twitch allows multi-streaming and disallow it at the same time. Nothing changed since you have to make it awkward for your audience to follow the rules. Also, restream has a bot that can send messages onto the chats across platforms so that everyone can see both chats, but it is not in line with twitch's guidelines.
One of the biggest problems last time I used restream, was that you lose the ability to set audio tracks for twitch VOD so you can't remove copyright music from VODs.
@@bongo1986 or, their service disabled a feature of twitch, whatever reason anyone uses it for. There is a VOD audio track, restream disables that function. UA-cam doesn't have it at all. What if I told you the channel owns the copyrighted music, but that doesn't stop it from flagging automatically?
Looking forward to multi-streaming..the chat thing is complete nonsense. As long as your multi-chat includes twitch, there shouldn't be an issue, as it's still engagement. As for multi-chat, i've been tinkering with botrix. Combining chat and creating alerts (for Kick) is a nice leg up.
I absolutely hate the no merging chat policy, I just got restream and want to get creative and have chat with people from allover the platforms but I feel like it will detract from the experience rather than add anything
They have no way to police combined chat lol. Just do it, they aren’t going to sit in peoples streams. I don’t even know anyone who actually got banned for multi streaming.
95% of streamers on Twitch already cannot muster enough interaction with chat to reach the average viewer count to become affiliate. Them allowing mult-streaming is dumb and does nothing but give people that are already low effort into thinking they can just stream to all platforms a some kind of shortcut to success.
its not about interaction or effort, getting big on any platform is about luck, stamina, and willingness to sacrifice mental and physical health for numbers online that wont get you paid unless you really start lining amazon's pockets. no idea what youre on about.
Incorrect. Networking and researching how to use the streaming tools and platforms we have means you don't have to endlessly stream 'sacrificing health' to succeed. That was the low thought 'hack' from 5 years ago that doesn't apply anymore. Effort beyond getting above a bare minimum amount of streaming has diminishing returns.@@tyruskurt9862
8:19 in the free version of restream, you ARE limited to 720p 30fps
If you use their studio it is. But as stated in the video just like the watermark if you do it through OBS there isn’t that limitation :)
You always keep me hip to the cool plugins
🫣 I hope you have my StreamUP plugin 😉🫶🏼
This was exactly the information we needed to get started. Thank you!
With the OBS plugin is still possible to use the second audio track for the Twitch VOD in order to avoid copyright? With this configuration will you hear music on UA-cam during the live? Thanks for the tutorials!
Yes you can do that. In the plugin you can edit the audio settings on the right and remove tracks :)
Thank you for the tips Andi! I only knew about Restream. I wasn’t aware of the Multiple RTMP plugin. Going to test it out soon. Cheers!
You're very welcome! Let me know how you get on!

should i check "sync start with obs"?
Yes, If you want that output to start streaming when you press start streaming in obs :)
Good video bruh 🔥
I'm seriously considering simulcasting not but my only concern is if my PC can run the Multiple RTMP Outputs OBS Plugin. Otherwise, I may check out the other mentioned option Restream.
Just give it a go! Using same obs settings in the plugin saves a lot of resources
Thanks so much for this!!! My only question is How do I find the URL for my Twitch? Or do I just leave OBS connected to Twitch and add UA-cam?
You just leave twitch connected :)

the Mixer logo in the thumbnail...why you gotta pull on my heart strings maaann lol

when using the rtmp plugin. Do you need to set twitch up as well, or does that remain setup in the main settings of OBS?
That will remain as the normal setup in OBS so you only need to add the extra platforms to RTMP
6:46 - Preach. It makes no sense, lmao.
Does streamer bot work like rest real where both ,y chats can talk together that’s why I like restream
It would if you displayed it on screen
can you find away to stream to 2 different twitch channels>

You can do either. For my video I used RTMP because I didn’t want to reset all my settings or make a new profile because I’m lazy!
Would like to see you go over TikTok as well with the multistreaming.
I’m not a TikTok partner so I can’t! Feel free to follow me over there to help me get to partner though then I can do content like that! @Andilippi
The RTMP plugin doesnt seem to work. I installed it but the new dock does not show up?

Do people get ads on UA-cam live streams like on twitch?
If ads are turned on for the stream, yes.
Do these guidelines apply to everyone who streams on Twitch or just Affiliates and Partners?
i wonder why mine says URL instead of RTMP server. I wonder how I can get it on UA-cam streaming?
It’s the same thing :)
@@Andilippi where do i get the url?
It’s on UA-cam when you press go live as stated in the video
Hi, are we allowed to do multi streams now on twitch and facebook?
👍🏼 Yup!

Yes it does! I’m all about saving the pennies!
@@Andilippi this is amazing ! only reason i never used it was i thought the watermark showd up on the obs stream ! thanks Andii !!
Twitch is being silly. Let's hope they stop it soon. Great useful vid as always. When do you stream Friday nights?
I stream usually midday British time :) you can see my schedule on my twitch channel twitch.tv/andilippi

No worries ducky!
The allouwed it for months already when the changed the guidlines with the ad changes people just cant read so why the had to tell you guys it again
Pretty sure they only aloud it to mobile platforms 👍🏼

I just happy I can multi stream Alonso people and me breaking rule 3 I am combined both chats
Yeah I don’t think they will police it to be honest but just be careful!

Good spot 😉 gotta get some engagement bait in the thumbnail 🫣😂
it'll be soooo much easier for streamers if they just merge the chats😭
