OBS Updated to 30.1.2 recently, if you are having problems installing the plugin make sure to install the latest version of the plugin. Here's a direct link to that version of it. All the steps are the same as the video still. github.com/sorayuki/obs-multi-rtmp/releases/tag/0.6.0.1

I only watched the first half because I kinda had to do it yourself once the setup part started because I am streaming 4k on UA-cam but needed to be 1080p on Twitch; also needed to find a Twitch URL which is harder than it seems, much different from YT, and etc. But dude the simple codex, and even the tip about the box somewhere easy with dock unlocking - absolutely easiest thing I ever did, compared to what I expected.

How do you feel about using Av1 to UA-cam and Nvidia Nvenc for Twitch when multi streaming? I have a powerful stream PC but have not seen any details about using two separate encoders for both platforms
You could do it but I haven't test what might happen so if you have a Intel GPU and Nvidia GPU. There's a chance it will work but isn't worth the price to performance since a 3060 12Gb can do 4 platforms with no problem.
@@TechGrant I have a 4080 in there but not sure if it can handle av1 and nvidia nvenc.
@@AverageMatty If you have a 4080 then it most likely can but you will need to test it since I don't have a 4080 to test with.

does the plugin support different encoders for different platforms like av1 for youtube and QSV h.264 for twitch if you have an arc card for example?
You can chose different setting for each platforms so yes but I have tested it for myself.

Yo, good video. This seems like a nice option for restreaming for free as opposed to that restream site. Only question: how do I get a single chat window for me to look at / for my layout? This is the only thing that would make paying for the service worth it to me if I had to, but if it's possible to get a merged chat for free then I'd prefer that of course.

@TechGrant Sweet, I'll give that a shot, thank you. After reviewing that video it seems like it has some small issues but still probably better than the monthly cost of that restream app? It's pretty expensive for streaming to 5 platforms.
Hey Grant, is there anyway that you know of to be able to pull multiple chats into obs? Like for example if I am using this and Kick is my primary stream input and I add UA-cam and Twitch as through the multi output what would be the best way to view their chats as well? Would they all just integrate into the kick chat or is there something I need to integrate? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, you will have to change the title and category for each platform. Its kind of annoy but not the worst thing.
Is there a vid of how we could set stream info for it all without having to open a browser similar to how you can do so for whatever main service you stream to?
Unfortunately, there is no way of setting up your title and category for all your platforms in one place. You need to set each them up manually.
I tried this, but sometimes it just doesn't go live to UA-cam.

Depending on how many platforms you want to stream, too. It will times your upload speed.

You probably can, but I haven't messed with HDR, so keep that in mind.

Got a few interesting questions: First, does it need to be on custom, or could it be on Twitch directly for the stream service? Also are you able to see all the different chats in OBS through one chat panel, will there be multiple, or need to find a different way? And last one should be, if we want to do different encoding, to get the most out of twitch and youtube for example, how much more of a load will that be compared to not adjusting encoder settings? Currently trying to get away from Restream, any answers or support help! Thanks for the great quick and no nonsense tutorial!
I don't really understand your first question. For monitor chat, I recommend you watch this ua-cam.com/video/atv5t0i4LN4/v-deo.htmlsi=W1wCWh53my_A7GJX Depending on stream settings your processing power will times the number of platforms you stream to.

The first question is about your stream settings at this timestamp: ua-cam.com/video/s_yGyzD5geQ/v-deo.html where your service for stream is set to Custom, but you mention it is set to Twitch (using RTMP) instead of using the twitch service connection and connecting your account. Can you do it by changing the service to Twitch instead of customer RTMP for the main OBS connection?
@kunmaruu Np man, you can set Twitch as you default for OBS stream settings or something else. You could use the plugin for UA-cam and Kick unless you want to do Twitch instead.
@TechGrant Perfect! Thanks so much! The only two issues I see with the Rix bot is the white background, and not having an ability to type back, but I think individual chat docks would be best for that.

I downloaded it but i can't find it in docks.
Side note - if you have obs studio in a non default install folder, you'll need to grab the zip, unpack and copy the files across (the installer doesn't cope with installer folder changes)

thx for this dude, it works perfectly except I am worried about the virus thing bc it does appear that online it says it was flagged for 11 viruses. Although I haven't found any on my system yet for anyone whos curious so it might just be random nonsense
