Dude you have no idea how happy I am - no bs tutorial that actually worked. My guy, thank you so much. Your combined chat one worked too, and I was able to overlay it with no problem at all. I tried to do this a few months ago and gave up after 10 HOURS of trying to get it to work. You are a lifesaver
Great explanation, quick note I didn't see in the vid, you have to have high upload speeds to stream to multiple platforms directly from your PC. Good rule of thumb is: 10mbs * number of platforms = required upload speed.
Great Video, was live streaming tonight and couldn't get the multistream to work, watched one video by another youtuber and they didn't explain about the URL at all or where to find it, So this videos is 10/10 as I got it working now, great video keep it up dude you earned another sub
I don't get why anyone would dislike this video; You literally cover EVERYTHING and provide the links to all the sites as well. Thanks a lot, it really helped me set everything up and now I only have to hope, that I followed your instructions correctly. ^^'
But even after watching just HALF the video, it worked perfectly right away. Thank you so much. I only watched the first half because I kinda had to do it yourself once the setup part started because I am streaming 4k on UA-cam but needed to be 1080p on Twitch; also needed to find a Twitch URL which is harder than it seems, much different from YT, and etc. But dude the simple codex, and even the tip about the box somewhere easy with dock unlocking - absolutely easiest thing I ever did, compared to what I expected. Thanks a million sir :)
Im a new streamer/content creator and this video was super helpful. Thank you for breaking this down! It has been a daunting task trying to learn all of this stuff lol. SUBBED! PS: ill be back to view other videos during my journey as im sure i will have plenty more problems/questions lol. Keep grinding!
Thank you so much for including the twitch instructions! I tried to follow a different video and had to look a bit more before I found yours, because everyone used twitch as their default streaming service! So I couldn't figure out what the heck I was doing wrong! (It was the url. i was putting my actual channel url BECAUSE NO ONE SAID ANYTHING OTHERWISE) so thank you for this!!
it works.. kinda. i am able to stream on my main channel & 2nd channel simultaneously but couldn't get it to stream on Facebook at all. the only thing about trying to stream on my 2nd channel was that it would stream, but it would show my previous livestream's title & thumbnail during the stream. so I had to go back and change it after it was over. if i try to schedule the stream ahead of time (with the current title & thumbnail) it wont work at all. so overall it does work (at least for YT channels) but still has its issues.. thanks though!
Thank you so much for the concise, easy-to-follow tutorial. Been trying to figure out multi-streaming through 3rd party apps and get so frustrated every time. This is awesome. Cheers mate.
Thank you for the video, I had to reset my pc and this is the first time this is happening, but when I install the plug in it doesn't show up nor does it show on docks, what can I do?
Does the title and "Go live notification" built into the software also work for those other platforms or do we have to go in and change each one manually?
OK Im still new to OBS, but I have a question: I recently had to get a new PC as my last one was fried after a storm. There was a previous Multi-Dock that allowed me to stream to my site as primary stream and youtube as a secondary optional stream. Once I started streaming to my site, I could start the youtube dock. OBS would ask for name, thumbnail etc and create the stream without the need to open YT... What happened to THAT dock?
Is there an easy way to change titles and other stuff or are you forced to do it individually with doing whatever the main stream in on OBS but the others you have to go to the website and manually change it.
Thank you for explaining this so well (I've seen many videos and none of them said where to find Twitch's URL). I would like to know if I can edit all streaming info for all platforms before going live. For example, if my main profile is Twitch, it appears the stream information in OBS and I can edit there, but what happens with UA-cam and Kick? Can I edit this information before or once I'm streaming?
@Dianilis97 You have to edit your title and description on each platform, unfortunately. You can get your Twitch url here. Make sure to pick a url for the closest server near you. help.twitch.tv/s/twitch-ingest-recommendation?language=en_US
@dgachavez Np and answer your question. It does require more resources. For example, if your bitrate is 6000 and you want to stream to 2 platforms, then it be 2x proformence needed.
wondering if this will work for X and i dont think it will. I only think this will work for platforms that are built for streaming like twitch kick etc,

Thank you! I just did this and can't wait to try it out tonight. I am trying to figure out how to schedule streams on Twitch like I do on UA-cam but seems like Twitch doesn't have that feature :(
Side note - if you have obs studio in a non default install folder, you'll need to grab the zip, unpack and copy the files across (the installer doesn't cope with installer folder changes)
How do you feel about using Av1 to UA-cam and Nvidia Nvenc for Twitch when multi streaming? I have a powerful stream PC but have not seen any details about using two separate encoders for both platforms
You could do it but I haven't test what might happen so if you have a Intel GPU and Nvidia GPU. There's a chance it will work but isn't worth the price to performance since a 3060 12Gb can do 4 platforms with no problem.
I just want to be ''connected'' to multiple streaming platform, any solutions ? i dont want to stream ''at the same time'' just be able to easily switch from twitch to youtube
Is there a vid of how we could set stream info for it all without having to open a browser similar to how you can do so for whatever main service you stream to?

@kunmaruu Np man, you can set Twitch as you default for OBS stream settings or something else. You could use the plugin for UA-cam and Kick unless you want to do Twitch instead.
@TechGrant Perfect! Thanks so much! The only two issues I see with the Rix bot is the white background, and not having an ability to type back, but I think individual chat docks would be best for that.
