If moving animals in your bus is going to be a regular thing, I would suggest putting a pond liner on the floor. They're cheap and it'll make it easier to keep the bus from becoming unbearable with animal filth.

Nice update, you should look into solar powered water bubblers to put in the pools, it will keep the water cleaner for longer. I use one for a bird bath and it works really nicely.
