I was always curious about Bhutan since childhood. Looking at the hills from the plains of Assam I alway wondered what it'd to be like to live on top. Such a great country I'm proud to call it my neighbor. Love from Assam, India.
Bhutan is indeed a very beautiful country yet I haven’t been there physically. However, in near future I will surely visit this beautiful nation in the world. Being a son of Nepali speaking Bhutanese parents, it has always been my privilege to call myself an Bhutanese/Nepali/American. While watching this video, number of questions came to my mind as how did my ancestors relocated to the Dagana, Bhutan in late 1800s from Nepal. I truly love to interrogate such questions with the legit resources from Bhutan since not even my parents knows the truth behind the history of ancestors from being Nepali speaking to Bhutanese by birth. All my parents knows is that their lives were beautiful back in Bhutan until 1990s.
Wow Dolly.. I remember seeing you as a kid.. Nice video.. I have been watching lots of traveler vlogs and quite surprised to go thru yours.. I'm sure your the first Bhutanese to make it to 242k viewers.. Norzin

What about those Nepali speaking Bhutanese who were kicked out from Bhutan back in 1990? Now, most of them have settled in USA and CANADA? Have you often come across with them who were evicted from their home back in 1990? I hope one day they will also get chance to go back to Bhutan. What about you?
New subscriber from Nagaland- India! With respect, I will be obliged if you kindly tell us the reason behind returning back home after such a long period of time 7 years!? Anyway, awesome vlog video 👍 continue to inspire us sister!!
I don't know who this women is, n I never have a Bhutanese freind, or met them. But I love this video n the gal who made it, I guess its her being herself and the home vibes.
Pema, your video is very inspiring and so moving to watch. I can almost imagine, how you must have felt to come home after being away for 7 long years. It reminds of my own experience for being away for many years to live in Europe. I've never been to Bhutan but somehow its history, people and the country was always very fascinating to me. The way the video was shot, presented and the way you speak about respecting your Mum has a deeper meaning in the sense of mutual respect. Your video gives me a very big motivation to visit Bhutan one day!
Pema, thank you very much for your kind reply. I really appreciate it! Yes, I'll definitely drop you a line for some advice before I go to Bhutan at some point. I'd like to find out more about Bhutan's GROSS NATIONAL HAPPINESS INDEX because it's a very impressive and humanistic concept of development that in my oppinion the rest of the world should follow. Meanwhile, Pema, please come to visit my tiny half island country of Timor-Leste. It's next to Bali island of Indonesia in South East Asia. Have you ever been to Bali? Respect
+tarukana falu sure. I have never been to Bali, it definitely is in my bucket list 🤗. Thank you so much and will definitely get your recommendations if I ever visit. 🙏🙏🙏
