Great video as always ollie xx wow some real ups and down this week glad the linnets have finally got their act together fingers crossed with them and the greenies
I know that some say that canaries will rear bullies. From my own experience, mine have not (from hatching) including 2 separate ones this year. The good news is they brood them and if you can manage to syringe some liquid food into them for the first 3-4 days, every couple of hours the canary will then take over. I have two youngsters (one now self sufficient) that would have died had they not been under a canary and had i not fed for the first few days.
Oh how I kind of envy your bird room/ house. But one has to make do with what ones got. I just wonder, have you ever kept, or bred, grey sparrows, and the relative with the black spots on the throat? I just can' t remember their name in english 😂. I had a pair of Fifes that did really good this year, 10 chicks in two rounds. I live in Norway btw.
