black bear can smell the scent of a human in a footprint, ripe berries in the air, and a steak grilling a mile away. A bear can smell seven times better than a bloodhound..

Nice grill Mike. I'm thinking about getting a blackstone myself. I used to cook in a restaurant on a flat top grill and liked using them. I ain't never come face to face with a bear. I seen a few but always from inside a vehicle. I also might have to look into a weed wacker like yours. I have a bad back as well and can only use a regular one for about 10 to 15 minutes at a time. We’re just starting to get a population of bear up in east central Missouri. They’re not to a nuisance level but folks closer to metro St Louis are having them in their yards!
I tried to start a cicada challenge to where you catch as many as you can then time how long it takes your chickens to eat them. Not a single UA-camr took me up on it. Lol! That was the CCF channel.

Your videos never boring, you get a lot done w that gas weed eater!! My neighbors yard every yr gets sky high w weeds all seeds blow to my property its very discouraging. When i was younger & was a rental id go over & cut some every day, but cant do anymore, im too old. Shes a good neighbor bot the place, 3 big dogs use tiny front yard cause back yard has a dangerous dog breaks thru old fence.❤😂
Yeah it sucks getting old then one just wants to take it easy on some days i build 🎸 during the week then take when im not working im taking care of my 3 acres im making it how I want it and debt free most importantly.

Your little Blackstone thing there looks like it would be great for an RVer...I got a 2 burner myself but its all griddle and part of my backyard setup....You might like the little flowers and all but the yard looks much better after ya wacked it...That one bear was lookin mighty skinny, hope thats not the one around the property cause it looks like he be lookin for food...Stay safe

It's useful to have the 2 dogs outside to keep the property safe.. Wonder if the fenced in dogs protect in anyway? Barking at least? BUT.. the inside fence dogs are getting older.. Would you ever bring the outside dogs into the fence? Would those outside dogs tolerate it?
The land round the property looks great. I suppose with all the stones you can’t use a ride on mower. Otherwise a lot of hard work for you.

I get bears in N NM at my tiny cabin. They come up for the neighbor's humming bird feeders, but I'm sure all the outdoor cooking done by people staying at B&Bs brings them in too. I've heard they'll tear into the outdoor grills when they smell residue on the grates. Tourists make bad decisions tryin to get video of them wandering through the neighborhood looking for hummingbird feeders. They have little grasp of how fast a lumbering hulk of an animal can turn into a racehorse. They get up on my deck at nite - they think its a port-a-potty.

We have bears at times here in Missouri ozarks. There was one several years ago,some people kept their dogs food in a coffee can strung up in a tree at night. Bear came along,got on his hind feet,starting eating out of the can. He got his muzzle stuck,people called the conservation agent. By the time he got there,bear had suffocated and was a goner. I guess the kibble did him in...
Did you know that you can put sketchers in the washing machine on a low heat. I have just washed mine for the first time and they have come up looking brand new. So don’t throw the old ones out. Wash them.

i used a weed eater like that with out the strap and i thought man this thing is heavy. the next time i used the shoulder strap and i was surprised how much lighter it was.
