This country is going the way of Zimbabwe at a rate of knots, action must be taken
Don’t expect Luxon to do it.
Evil men win when good men do nothing, why aren't we blocking the train tracks we actually laid? It seems Maori get away with all their protests blocking the roads we made for the public, so why can't others disrupt what we think is wrong? How far do these protests go until there has to be some law written around it and it goes on and on and on, if we just stick to the Gospel we wouldn't go wrong and that is the Principle of life it's not religious.
National couldn't put together a backbone between them if they tried
Because of woke teachers, more people are home-schooling. Teachers should teach, not force political beliefs on children. Its a waste of children's time, taxpayers' money and its illegal.
Well said.
Just do your job and teach the children, now that you’re job
You are not there for this kind crap
It's not dissimilar to what the Greens have done to children regards climate change; a recruitment campaign.
Sack the principal now or get your kids out of the school asap. We need to privatize education as woke leftist unions have a stranglehold on our education system. National o dear ...so lacking in courage e and conviction.
Time these Teachers got sacked they should stop pushing their ideological agendas on the kids. No wonder the kids are failing at Maths and English it's not taught rather they want to use the kids for their political causes.
If only we had teachers and not activists in our 'education' system but alas...
all the good ones fled when the forced that thing on them bro
To many maoris in the system
Grass roots indoctrination
Whatever happened to preparing children for the modern world and the future.
When I went to school in the 1970-1980s we were taught not to be racist. How times have changed
It should be illegal to take children out of class for anything political including strikes and protests during school hours. Using children as pawns as usual.
Instant dismissal for the principal involved!
Minister of education has every right to demand schools not to get involved . It is illegal.
And the role of the Board of Trustees? There would have been a recorded formal decision which would make for an entertaining reading.
How do people with such biased attitudes like this get to be school principals???
..old saying 'Wars are won by teachers'
the marxists subverted the education system in china too...
trained at Auckland Teacher's Training College no doubt and wear their naenae tees before bedtime
Communists
This movement like the trans ideology has been creeping through the institutions with cunning and stealth because no sane person would vote for this crap.
Shocking that little children being encouraged this way its unbelievable 😢
Then they wonder why it's a "cultural problem"
It would be interesting to see the data of how many children actually attended and how many parents refused to have thier children involved in this
The parents have also been indoctrinated and theirs as well it's entrenched fraud, the adults don't even understand the Treaty let alone the kids leave them out of it I say it's brainwashing them into a dark road!
Pink Floyd sang..." HEY TEACHER LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE "...the main question is did the maori chiefs cede governance to crown...on the evidence supplied they DID...the treaty bill and its ramifications has been badly explained to the public....thanks again mainstream media...
They are just a repeat of the Treaty articles for dummies
imagine if a school decided to attend the stop cogevernance meetings. The media and politicians would have a chernobyl level meltdown
I was at prize giving at aotea college earlier this month. The principal included in her welcome, her displeasure at the Treaty Principles Bill and advised the guests that where there is a dispute about the legality/translation of a treaty, the treaty written in the indigenous language shall be deemed the legitimate treaty, and cited the UN. Her speech was a not so cleverly disguised show of disrespect to her employer, the Government. I did not attend a school function to be politicised or given her view on race-based issues. I expected the event to be all about the students who were being awarded prizes. We need to remove ALL political activism from our schools. This is Gramsci's long-March through the institutions in action.
This has been going on for 40 years unhinged, I went to my 50th High School Re-union as a student from the 70's, it was a string of maori speakers with no English it was really bad, successfully de-colonised the town is full of Islanders and Maori taken over the school and have disrespect and no idea about Pakeha culture that was working very well, Pakeha built that Tokoroa town and we had that tattoed faced guy Michael Laws interviewed a couple of weeks ago waving his stick around spluttering te reo with no translation I was literally weeping for the loss of spirit replaced by witchcraft and nothing of Christianity or a prayer so wrong that our culture is being taken by rebels I can't believe it.
Creeping through the institutions with cunning and stealth is the only way to get a foot hold, because no sane person would vote for this garbage.
@@StGammon77this ideology has been creeping through the institutions with cunning and stealth because no sane person would vote for this rubbish.
At least we have an example of why the European education system “doesn’t work for Maori”. Because their children are often missing due to yet another week long tangi, land meeting, protest or just generally can’t be arsed, with a bs excuse, all while blaming everything except themselves.
Don't disrespect tangi/funerals like that just because you build houses on top of your grave yards.😅 also they don't have to stand with the treaty the parents can say no but the tap of the treaty is speaking the Iwi in Kiwi are speaking weather you like it or not😊
@@hailzreignmanga
If children are continually missing school they get behind then struggle. Thats on the parents, You still dont see it, but deflect onto buildings next to graveyards presuming I care about churches.
pull the money
their Health and Safety plan must be an interesting read... 🤔🤣
I am so fortunate my children (thank god) go to private school. Thank you life for the opportunity I have and my children have.. Thank you..
The principles set out in the bill as introduced are:
Principle 1: The Executive Government of New Zealand has full power to govern, and the Parliament of New Zealand has full power to make laws, (a) in the best interests of everyone; and (b) in accordance with the rule of law and the maintenance of a free and democratic society.
Principle 2: (1) The Crown recognises, and will respect and protect, the rights that hapū and iwi Māori had under the Treaty of Waitangi/te Tiriti o Waitangi at the time they signed it. (2) However, if those rights differ from the rights of everyone, subclause (1) applies only if those rights are agreed in the settlement of a historical treaty claim under the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975
Principle 3: (1) Everyone is equal before the law. (2) Everyone is entitled, without discrimination, to (a) the equal protection and equal benefit of the law; and (b) the equal enjoyment of the same fundamental human rights.
If they are not presented with this or too young to understand then it is not education but indoctrination.
Simple isn't it..... I can't believe these kids parents going on this don't realise in the future they may not get a prize or job or in a sports team because that spot is set aside for maori get real. Parents should be up in arms and call for the principal to b sacked
@@Rowanfbirdlol all my life it's been the white boys getting favoritism in sports and such since the ones who select pick the sons of there friends and family while more skilled players don't get picked
It doesn't matter what the Government writes the rebels will still revolt because they hate us and want us gone and that will NEVER happen Pakeha are Natives now more than 6 generations, not the ones that came last year from England, the 1st family generations that lived here since the Nation was formed 1840 and some indeed before as Missionary families. Pakeha were sacred to the Treaty Chiefs and they decided what was to be for their people and that was to leave the old ways behind be baptised into Tikanga Christianity and consider the Monarchy sovereign parents with the Mana and power to rule. The treason of Kingis and political partys must end and be considered a breach as it was in the past when they had their land confiscated for killing Christian Maori and Pakeha. The Treaty Chiefs spoke at the Kohimarama Conference and stated that their people should not start Political movements and we can see why!
What the hell is Luxon doing about these woke activists schools. If he and his government don’t act now on these illegal protests, then expect it to only get worse and grow. Grow some Luxon and put an end to this activism before it gets out of hand.
Blame John Keys speech at the National convention.
Didn't we vote on all this?
That's why they indoctrinate Young children,(Hitler youth for example) no sane person would vote for this.
Yep, but, the media couldn't accept it so they are trying to propagandize everyone.
Homeschooling is the way to go. We homeschooled our children and we are more than pleased with the outcome.
😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
Obviously the school needs to be investigated !!🤔🤨😠😡
Irresponsible teachers going far beyond their remit. Should be formally reviewed.
PS : the school is endangering our children ,
By misinformation and disinformation and physically outing them in potential harm's way !!😛😛😛🤔🤨😠😡
Who are the Board members and which teachers are involved ??🤔🤨😠😡
Sack the principal.
Yeah, It's all about the money with lawyer's stoking all of it, school's should have more sense then involving young children as young as 5years, its
polluting a young mind to begin with, when older absolutely and they understand what they are protesting on.
Who's job is it to check these school decision makers ??
Seems to me that maybe they should get busy and do their job .
I am a retired teacher and am very concerned by the actions of the leadership team and Board of Naenae Primary School. It clearly states in the Teaching Code of Conduct, and has always been so, in my 54 yrs as a teacher, that schools/teachers must not influence the students in a particular political viewpoint. I hope the Ministry of Ed and the Teachers' Council will show some leadership and take the appropriate action.
These teachers live in the community with their families.
Make sure they find out.
David Farrar? Brilliant! I never would have thought.
Sounds like the Principal looking for extended gardening leave or early retirement.
Why isn’t work safe stepping in to protect the children? What happens if the kids somehow get injured.
I guess their won't be police attending this like they did at the mandates protest. I wonder if David Seymour would class this as wagging lol 😂. I hope the children don't get hurt by zealous police like the did at they other Parliament protest.
Great way to cause political division between children as many parents won't want their children attending and you can bet that will be used by the teachers to cause division in the classroom.
My old school, which is 97 percent non-Maori, now has compulsory kapa haka and a ‘social justice’ head
Completely unethical behavior and immoral using children as political pawns. Question whether those responsible for this proposed demonstration are of good character one would expect from teaching professionals. I think not. They have crossed the line once again.
This is old news. Before the 2020 election a friend who has 3 boys all going to primary school in Paraparaumu came home before the election chanting Jacinda Jacinda Jacinda. When my friend asked the boys what they were going on about they told him this is what the teachers had taught them at school. It seems that teaching kid's is no longer what teacher do, activism seems to be their core roll in children's lives education comes a distant 2nd. No wonder kid's can't read or write properly anymore
Schools also took kids on climate change marches.
Before or after Greta Thumberg took down her tweets saying we'd be extinct by 2023 ?
The kids at Naenae must be geniuses because obviously they don't need any more learning as far as maths, reading and writing goes. (I couldn't find the dripping with sarcasm emoji, disappointing).
If they need one on one supervision does that not mean they need one parent/guardian per child and if so would that not be an underhanded way to force adults to join their protest. The implications for working parents/guardians who refuse to participate and their kids who are now going to miss a school day requiring adult supervision so they will have to take a day off. I really do not understand the idea of mixing Maori and English. If they idea is that you want to revive a dead language, then you would use it in its purest form without mixing English into it, which means you would create a Maori and an English version of the letter so everybody can be happy.
The problem you have is that the Ministry of Ed are politically supporting the march and their ideologies. They are the gate keepers so..... Also, put a commissioner in any school not complying to the regulations.
That's a big glass of vodka Sean
One would hope that the majority of the parents of the students would refuse permission for their children to be used as pawns in a political stoush. Children should be in class getting an education, rather than being indoctrinated in order to use them as pawns in this situation. The school board should step in and tell the teachers to get on with their jobs of educating their students and leave politics out of the classroom. If the board is not prepared to do so, the ministry of education should step in, dissolve the board, and appoint a commissioner to oversee the running of the school in accordance with its statutory duty to provide an appropriate education for its students.
This was not a wise idea by the teachers and others who were involved. I get it. You are a proud person, but you shouldn't use the kids as a way to get your political view across. The people behind this won't even remember those kids' names in 10 years' time.
You should be on stage Sean doing standup comedy, LoL. I'm wondering does this trip into town include all students or just Maori students to attend the protest??
Define a Maori
What’s the difference? Do you think all Māori are the same and support the protesters
@@Mark-g6l7iMaori translates as normal, ordinary or usual. If you're talking about groups of people you just refer to the particular iwi. They were all immigrants from different islands.
@@PhilLisaI bloody don't, it's embarrassing this apartheid, lower marks to get into Med school. Cringe.🤦 Why not just tattoo, "victim" on one side of the face and "thug" on the other, because there's no happy medium for these activists.
It's terrible because then families feel like if they don't participate they will be ostracized. The school as a whole should be neutral so they aren't discriminating. It's the vaccination issue all over again.
The parents elect the BOTs not the govt, so they're accountable to the students' parents. Many people don't realise just how much power they have as parents. The BOT also appoints the Principal to the position, again they're answerable to the parents. It's disgusting that the teachers, who, like public servants are to remain politically neutral whilst at work, are not.
Hey Luxo!!
Don't expect anything from that supporter of the elite Maori gravytrain Luxton is nothing more than a left of center woke traitor to the people that voted for him
Luxton is a centre left traitor to every person that voted for him he's a closet supporter of the Maori elite
Wake up sheeple. Most skools have been doing this for years.
You know it's funny, i'm training to be a primary school teacher and I remember when there was bible study (kids loved it, even the ones that didn't come from religious backgrounds). But then, mostly because of opposition from some parents, they got rid of it, likely some parents believed their kids were being brainwashed and having other beliefs forced upon them.
But in primary school now, they put a strong emphasis on te ao maori and the gods and even do a karakia. It seems like a contradiction and i wondered what the board would do about similar complaints from parents about having ideas they don't believe, supposedly being forced their kids' throats. I have a hunch, that their complaints would've been ignored, which seems hypocritical.
The other day, they talked about the bill, only they didn't exactly talk about it in an unbiased manner, in fact they skewed important details and phrased it as a one sided, black and white issue. That rubbed me up all the wrong ways, it's one thing to talk about current events, it's another to talk about politics to 12 and 13 year olds, who aren't fully old enough to understand the complexities of such political issues.
I know it was living the Treaty no racial crap we all worked, lived, married, had kids together, laughed, bbqs, town events all the SAME
@@StGammon77 exactly! It serves nothing to sew division
Neither have any place in the classroom.

I remember my primary school teacher turning up at our house. Trying to sell me life insurance. Wake up nz
Well hopefully sensible minded parents will tell the teachers that their kids are not to be used as pawns in their political protest. Also, what about the health and safety aspect of taking these kids along. Its not their right to put kids in a level of danger to inflate their own egos.
Compulsory for primary school education history of the treaty history of NZ Maori Pakeha Why was there a treaty What happened What the Europeans done to the Natives owners of the Land
Maybe because the school realises if it weren't for Te Tiriti, we wouldn't have the country we have now? Maybe they're trying to teach the kids it's important to stand up for what is right. Not sure why that's so controversial or hard to understand - it's not like kid's parents have no choice. LOL@ "terrible for the kids" - more terrible than what is happening with Te Tiriti?
Hi your pretty woke yourself 🥴
All you people are barking mad. T
Remove all their funding
You people are behind the times.😢 These teachrrs are doing a fantastic job teaching our kids cvics while standing up for an important cause; for you bozos that's getting involved with our democracy. We need more of it not less. Don't be such stick-in-the-muds.
Wrong. It goes against directives from the Teaching Council that schools must be politically neutral, and it's forcing kids to take part in a political protest that they are too young to comprehend. If you need to involve children in that way to boost the numbers, then that says something about the cause!
They still learning something I guess 🤷 🎉
Hahaha take that teach our kids who are they to say thats legal &thats illegal oh a day out for a train ride is hurting ya feelings
There is alot of keyboard warriors on here 😂😂😂

It's so funny how colonisers politicise our entire country but one little school supports Māori and colonisers flip out like the entire country is under threat 😂😂
