Severide (Taylor Kinney) shaken and wondering if he could have done more. Meanwhile, with the firehouse in full support of Dawson (Monica Raymund) as she retakes the fireman's exam, Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) attempts some political maneuverings on her behalf. Elsewhere, Mills (Charlie Barnett) looks for answers about his father's mysterious past and Chief Boden's (Eamonn Walker) grand plans take a detour. Lauren German, David Eigenberg, Yuri Sardarov, Joe Minoso and Christian Stolte also star. It appears to be controlled fire along with the window. But the actual building wasn't on fire.
The scene was recorded on a set. My twin brother and I were playing as the burnt boy inside the building

MountainBike Mania I dont think they would use real fire with actors because you need special training to fight fires from inside a burning building and something could happen you never know. Im studying fire technology in college to help me become a paid fireman because thats my dream job and Im working towards it
Derek Summers good luck Derek..no the fires are pyro( staged) real enough to burn you but its no where like real dirty urban firefighting.I did 25 yrs on the 3rd or 5th ...( who's counting) fire dept in the nation.It wears you down.
The fire is real but it’s controlled. They can shut it off at any point so nothing happens. There’s a guy there making sure everyone is safe.
