We’ve been beaten just as much in the traditional uniforms than the alternates. It doesn’t hurt to mix it up with some new looks. It would be different if we wore colors at home and white on the road. I grew up a tiger fan right around the corner from Death Valley. Never cared for that tradition. It’s monotonous and boring.

Kelly has been building the alt uni's since he to BTR. He's the one that introduced them to Notre dame. Notre Dame might break out the greens once in a while but Kelly came up with the all green, the pinstripe series, the shamrock series, etc. It's his thing. I loved the other day when Deboer was asked about an alt for Bama he said, that won't be happening.

Michigan does wear alternates. Traditionally they were gold pants and white or blue tops. They been wearing white pants and blue pants. All blue and all white at times. Same with OSU. They have multiple alternates….. I like the switch up!

A recent Uber driver in Savannah as I get in the car (early morning after A&M) and first thing he says (he knew I was flying to Louisiana) was "Oh man, that was tough last night and such a sudden reversal! This New Jersey native is all about LSU and said it was good we could commiserate with each other. Should have gotten his number !
