I wish there was a pill to take to make you forget a complete series and let you watch it over as if it was the first time; I'd take that pill over and over again for Desperate Housewives. It's difficult to find shows with such dept, plottwists and the whole situation. You just get bombarded with zombie series, anything about spies, drugs, violent gangs and.. that's about it. Or shows about family, trying to be "funny". I just rewatched all the episodes for a third time, and don't se myself doing it again (don't want an obsession lol). But I'd take that pill any day :D

Rewatched 3 times. Still a yes. Surely the later seasons (I guess some point at season 4) started to drop a bit, but the earlier seasons are masterpieces, making the whole franchise gold in general.
Marc Cherry is a genious, I've never seen the show so realistic where every character is represented just like in real life and nobody is completely good or bad... Amazing...
That's one of the things that I love about the show. They really did give you people who feel real. That had real life to them and their good and bad qualities. They also really talked about so many things that are real life that make most people uncomfortable or hard to really talk about. Yet the show made it really flow without trying to sway you one way or another but makes you aware. For example suicide, mental health, depression, post partum, different sexuality, social rules, discrimination etc etc it really dived into so many things. Yet also has so much good humor and way to see the light side of things too. The characters were really well developed that can't help pull you in. Made me sad there was only 8 seasons but was so many favorite episodes out the 8.

I miss this show sooooo much! I’m so glad I’m not the only one. The characters are so much fun and well developed, they’re relatable. Also the color used for the houses, the sets, the picture used throughout the whole series are so uplifting I always play this show whenever I want to brighten up my day. I really wish they brought it back

When I went to Colonial Street many of the houses were repainted but I spotted the Solis house and was like Desperate Housewives! And everyone was like LOL WTF (Because I was 16-17 at the time)

I just wanna hear about how all these women hated teri hatcher lol. Susan Meyer was originally written for Mary Louise Parker, who turned it down to do Weeds. Such a better choice choosing to be the solo lead of an edgy show vs a housewife leading along w tons of women. Imagine shit got tense on DH

Apparently, she always wanted to be in the middle of everything and it got so far that she stopped talking to everyone else.
Speak for yourself, in the time she was one of the most loved characters, it changed over the years because of gossip, she still is a very loved character, just the fans of the others actresses acting like teenagers decided to hate Susan because of the rumors against the actress. Very sad and silly.

i’m 21 and i remember being like 7 watching the tornado episode with my mom because it was her fav show and now it’s one of my favs as an adult
I don't think I even watched it as a kid but I still somehow saw the tornado espidoe too and it scared me so much!
