Hey Y'All, SPAM comments are flooding this video. Please know that I will NEVER ask for you to DM me and/or take the conversation to a 3rd party app. The giveaway is hosted on marrash.com and the winner will be notified on 6/21/22 via email.
Ahh, I'd love to win the camera but I won't be entering because shipping will be a fortune to me on the other side of the world 🌍. Enjoy it whoever wins
Yay! What a collision of worlds… I’ve used your LFF videos to give me the boost I needed to dust off my 4x5, order chemistry and just start photographic processes again (I’m also mildly addicted to cyanotype.) after a 15 year hiatus. I live in a remote area in Wisconsin near the Michigan border and signed up for Photostock as soon as I heard about it… and then saw your name! Thanks for everything you give to the large format community and for keeping photographic process art accessible. I’m rediscovering a voice I thought a lost during my “mama” years.
I have an Anniversary Speed and Graphic View II, so don't need this Crown, but I love to see it go to someone who needs LF kit. Everyone please keep me in your thoughts -- when I got my tax refund I spent part of it on a small box each of Portra 160 and Ektrachrome 100 in 4x5. I've got Cinestill E-6 reversing color developer in transit (and a good method to use Rodinal for first developer, plus C-41 bleach and fixer), and already process my own C-41, but have never shot color in large format. Nervous, but excited. Hope to expose a few sheets over the upcoming long weekend, though it might take some time to work through my darkroom backlog to get them processed.
That is a pretty nice and well equipped give-away camera kit. Not personally interested, but I used one exactly like it shooting school sports and events when I was in high school in the early 1960s. I got my fill of 4x5 field cameras at that time. For someone just launching into large format, add a meter and your off to the races.
Love the channel! I really don’t mind every other week. Life gets busy and videos weekly is an intense schedule to maintain while keeping content quality high.
Great to see another giveaway. I already have a 4x5 kit, so didn’t enter but it’s still good to see the generosity of your member and the channel. Looking forward to season 4. You’re doing an excellent job. You and the channel come up in quite a lot of LFF discussions that I have with other photographers.
Hey Mat, already waiting for the first video of the next season... I'm sure you will deliver us a bunch of good advice and nice pictures, too. All the best, see you next time !
@@MatMarrash Thank you very much. :) I've got a queation as well, as I entered about two hours ago. But I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail about entering, at least up to now. Is that usual?
@@Nathanola-Studios Hey Nathan, this entry form doesn't email out a confirmation, previous giveaways I received too many complaints about email SPAM with confirmations. Yours has been received!
Great news Mat, I bet someone really can use that lovely 4x5 kit. I'm not entering because I already own one. I'm very interested in possible future darkroom or alternative process videos. I'll be waiting!
Hey Mat! Love the channel and always enjoyed listening to you on the FPP. I've been meaning to send you an email but I recently bought out an estate and ended up with upwards of 20 Large format cameras. Never shot one before but I guess its time now!
A great kit to give away. I sold my Crown Graphic to finance (partially) my Wista 45DX with the greater movement capabilities, but I do miss the old thing. But this should go to someone new to large format. Maybe you'll update the acronym to LFaF (large format alternate fridays)?!
I would sign up for the giveaway, but unfortunately I don't think i'd be able to actually take full advantage of such good kit nor afford the taxes and shipping etc. due to being a broke student
Thank you for the content and the great giveaway. Can you give some advice where to shop for tested cameras and lenses? I had some bad luck with my last camera and I am done with all the claims of mint ++++++ and than having all the trouble with the gear. Thanks again for the great content!!
Found your channel doing research for a camera build. Not too complex, but I'm going to use a regular full frame digital slr and connect it to a large format camera (likely sinar norma) for more versatility in the studio and less work in photoshop afterwards. really love your videos and look forward to see more of your content moving forward!

The print is beautiful. Thanks for sharing the large format information with us all.
The 23 back is 6cmx9cm, not 6x7.
This would be a dream come true! Thank you for the opportunity Mat 🙏

I have always had good luck with KEH, eBay can be hit or miss. I have had a few Near Mint cameras that were not even near EX +++
@@CalumetVideo thanks! And yes eBay is sometimes …

Hmm, his barber chair isn't near any windows and I've never seen him eat garlic...but if he is the mirror reflection is awfully convincing!
