was this after a big storm? wondering why its so muddy? Looks like a great time and a fun group. I don't like beer, so I bring yukon jack. subscribing now
Usually the Chestatee is beautiful, if you watch our video on the Cartecay or Etowah you'll see the normal water color for North Georgia Rivers. It just happened to rain right before that weekend!
Awesome! We’re glad you enjoyed it! Definitely hope to continue improving our editing and shooting skills :) we are posting a video kayaking the Cartecay River next!
Great video. Very informative and cool shots 📸. Looking forward on paddling in September. Will likely rent. Chestatee River Adventures provides shuttle service back to starting point?
The parking and shuttle for this piece of river is awesome, you put in by the little walkway bridge. drive the car down less than a mile and drop it, catch a ride back with the shuttle company, and enjoy the next 3-4 hours floating until you hit the takeout! its a great spot!
Thank you and yes chestatee Adventures provides the shuttle, its very casual if you have your own kayaks and always available! Just pull up and drop your gear, go park, and buses are going all day during the summer, hop on the next one back. If you don't have a kayak they rent tubes and kayaks, but the tubing is very short, highly recommend the yak route! We have put out several other informative videos about kayaking in North Georgia, if you subscribe to the channel it helps us and you can follow them as they come out!
So we currently have a GoPro 8 and a GoPro 9. On the 9 I have a “media mod” which adds a better quality mic to the GoPro. The advantage of the 9 is the forward facing screen, and with every generation the stabilization seems to get better! I am hoping to add a 10. I’ve found you can eventually use 3-4 of them if you want to have a few statically mounted, and a few to record with to have more b roll at the end of your trip. Hope that helps!
Very informative. Love the drone footage too. Great video. 👍

They reverse shuttle, so your vehicle is parked where you take out. So convenient!!
