  • As promised, I decided to get out and try some more amusement park rides from a big guy's perspective. I decided to revisit Kings Island to try a few more rides that I missed the last time I was there. This is part 3 of that experience where I check out Woodstock Express, Surf Dog, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill and The Eiffel Tower.
If you have been following along on my channel, you will know that I am on a quest to lose weight so that I can enjoy one of my favorite things in the world...visiting amusement parks. I have been a lifelong lover of amusement parks, theme parks, fair rides, and especially roller coasters and thrill rides. But, as I've gotten older I put on quite a bit of weight and could not enjoy myself as I would like to.
This year, my family and I have decided to take a trip to Orlando, Florida to visit Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. In planning for the trip, I have discovered that I was too fat for a lot of the rides at Universal Studios. So, I took that realization as the kick in the pants that I needed to make some better choices and change myself for the better.
When I began my weight loss journey, I weighed 415 lbs. I have a goal to get myself under 300 pounds (and hopefully more) by October so that I can not ruin my family's vacation. As of this video, I have lost 76 lbs. and am down to 339. I still have a ways to go, but I am getting out of my fat guy comfort zone and starting to enjoy life more. Please come along and have fun with me as I continue on this journey.

My wife and I went this week. She was only able to fit on a couple rides. She absolutely loved Surf Dog. She was very frustrated with the fact that she couldn't get on rides she had rode as a child. I found The Racer to be one of the better smaller coasters. Thank you for your video, it would be nice if Theme Parks would design more rides for Plus size people. Have a good one!

I agree with your Disney assessment...they really got it right when it comes to us larger folk. Big people deserve to have fun too, right !?! LOL My family and I went to Disney last October and, at 400 lbs., I was able to squeeze into everything...some of it hurt a little...but I got in there. I'm glad you like the videos. Thanks for watching!

love these! you seem like such a sweet guy and a great personality. i’m about your size so this is immensely helpful. more kids rides would be great as i have 3 children 10,10 and 5. it would be fun to see dollyworld eventually and waterparks for kings island and kentucky kingdom. also, holiday world of course!! kings island and holiday world were my happy place as a kid and it means a lot to know i can ride some stuff with them. gives me the confidence boost i need to GO lol ask, i remember the beastie. i was too much of s chicken to ride the beast 😂

Thank you! I'm glad I could help. Thanks for the suggestions and feedback too. I do plan to get to more parks in the future and eventually get to the kids rides at the ones I've visited (but my kids don't go as often as I do, so its a little sporadic). Water parks are also coming eventually as well as the other parks you mentioned. I don't get paid to do this (...yet, fingers crossed for soon) so its all out of pocket expense which can be a little pricey sometimes. Never been to Dollywood but I want to REAL bad; and I definitely agree with you on Holiday World...I LOVE that park. Its so clean, and relaxing and friendly. I'll definitely hit it up as soon as I can. Thanks again for watching. I really appreciate it!
