Thank you! Soon we will do an episode with examples and stories of Jewish people who recall their past lives and situations in my psychology practice where passed lives show up.
I'm surprised she didn't mention the books of Chiyam Vital. Shaar HaGigulim(The Gate of Reincarnations), these are the teachings of the Arizal. She's right, according to the teachings of the Arizal, the incarnation of a soul is proportionate to the level of Tikkun from the previous incarnation. The body is customized to the level Mitzvots the soul needs to perform.
Reincarnation is not taught in the Torah or the Bible. Betty is assuming the validity of Kaballah, which applies an occult interpretation to the Torah. But Kabbalah is a recent school, and rejected by Orthodox Judaism. There is no reincarnation. Read, "Reincarnation and Christianity," by Morey; and "The Reincarnation Sensation," by Geisler.
Orthodox studies Kabbalah, and definitely is not recent. Maybe now is known. We don’t change Judaism, maybe clothes or music like the Hasidic. Not the books.
What a great topic! Betty is an engaging speaker. I was fascinated by her insight and in depth knowledge.Love to hear more

@@puranic1 The claim that Kabbalah is ancient is just propaganda. There is actually no evidence for it's antiquity.
