Haven’t watched bart and geo in a while but for some reason, this video was very soothing. It felt like I was listening to a friend whom i hadn’t spoken to in a while and the stuff about running/shoes was very relatable that it brought a sense of comfort in an odd way haha 😅 This video, in its genuine nature, has honestly weirdly given me some comfort that I didn’t even realise i needed. @@thejoke2791 There's a class of three year old's at my job and unfortunately out of 10 kids maybe only 2 of them are this advanced. People really dont work with their kids the way they should. Geo is doing an amazing job.

It seems like most of these kids come from homes where parents are forced to work multiple jobs and are just too tired to be bothered. Or like you said some are shit parents and really don’t give a fuck and they expect us to be able to teach them everything and catch them up which is damn near impossible.
Running does something positive to people. i think it's the added blood circulation that unclogs all the funk in the body and mind. Geo clearly is on a whole different vibe in this vlog and i'm digging it. She is glowing, not her physical complexion but her words/thoughts.
My son is 5 years old and he acts similar to Taika. At times, it gets hard when he tests my patience a LOT but I get he’s trying to be more independent. Watching your vlogs brings me comfort. Thanks for sharing your life with your little one.
Shout to Geo for jump starting Taika's learning at home. Also after watching something that says most of grade school kids can't read an analog clock it's definitely a good idea to start early.

But if I ever get unmotivated I just watch barts marathon journey videos and Nick Bares videos always hypes me up and keeps my mind focused. Running is just overall one of the best things you can do for yourself so just to improve yourself stick to it. When you finally run the marathon I know youre gonna look back and be proud af of yourself. KEEP PUSHING YOU GOT THIS!!

I think Taika's getting to that age where he can verbally and physically indicate whether he wants to be filmed or not, especially at 23:29 and 27:15. I don't think it's Taika being rude but you should definitely start asking him whether he wants to be on camera now that he's getting older and he's coming into his own.
Good! The inside is beautiful (although too large for me). The outside surroundings is desolate southern wasteland. If you're going to go somewhere, go where there are actually trees and life around it. Other than trying to horde around the "movie/celebrity" area I never understood why people want to be in a dust bowl. (In my mind, Vegas wouldn't be an option either. but I'm happy if you get away from LA). Go north in the future. Winter is cold(er) but season changing is way more lovely. It makes you appreciate the year is small chunks more. PS: those sneaks aren't ugly. I like them but different colours would be nice.
Recently made the switch to Hokas and so worth the price. It’s wild how comfy they are. Compared to my nikes and hokas, after putting tons of miles, my hokas still look new lol
For all my bilingual parents out there I need help. My 5 year old daughter is in kinder in a dual program where she learns Spanish and English but primarily Spanish. She has learned alot of Spanish but not quite speaking sentences yet. Mostly knows numbers, vowels, sounds, colors. Her primary speaking language is English. I know it's great for kids to speak 2 languages but I feel like she would advance so much in English class because she loves school. Her program is about 80% Spanish 20% English. She use to know all her numbers and letters in English but now it's the other way around. I feel like she is getting confused on the languages. I don't know if I should switch her back to English in 1st grade. Plus it's hard for me and my husband to study with her since we both work.
My opinion as someone who had previously been in a Spanish center school I would honestly recommend you moving her out into an English focus class. I come from Spanish speaking parents and I had no way of learning or knowing the English language so as a child my parents thought it would be easier for both them and I to add me into that Spanish program where almost half if not all the class was in Spanish. However as I started going up grades I started struggling because classes were no longer all in Spanish and it was just a couple hours of a day were Spanish was being used so I had no way of understating the material that was being taught in class. During that period my parents also decided to move elsewhere and unfortunately for me the school that I was placed in didn’t provide Spanish classes so I went into the new school without knowing how to understand or communicate about class and that affected my learning and how I would succeed in class. I honestly didn’t learn English until I was in 3rd grade going into 4th grade and it was the most difficult thing as a child but thankfully I was able to learn English by having a great teacher that would take his time out of his day to teach me english on the side. The program that was supposed help me as a child would become a small problem throughout junior high and high school as well as I had to take extra 20 minute classes to prove that I had absolutely learned English to be able to get out of that program. And getting out of that program is pretty difficult as you grow older because now you have to have complete knowledge of both languages to be able to exit the program, and as we grow up we tend to pick up the English language more and kind of put aside the Spanish language. So now I knew more English but not enough proper Spanish to be able to get out. So I had to practice my Spanish and exceed in the English so I could get out of the program. I’m 25 at the moment and I can understand, speak, and write both Spanish and English so don’t be worried about putting them into the English course and worrying about them losing their Spanish. Speak as much Spanish as you can in the house because in the end kids end up learning the English language in school with the help of the teacher’s and classmates.
I would recommend you that if she is learning Spanish at school most of the time only sleek to her in English at home this way she will be practicing both or if she is learning English more only speak Spanish at home. This helped me when I was younger and I can now speak,write, read both languages fine. You are doing great don’t worry
Ayy HOKA shoes i love mine. Got mine from Feet Fleet. I'm a bigger guy and when I would jog my feet would hurt but HOKA shoes provide so much cushion. Look ugly but oh so great.
My son is 11 days younger than Taika and when you walked over to him and told “what did I tell you” and that “you need to eat” I laughed because I say the exactttt same things
I LOVE hokas, i bought them in 2019 and my knee pain stopped. I couldn’t recommend it more. I’ve ran marathons with different shoes but those are the best. Nike is really bad for running if someone is trying to run
