Such an awesome build Big B! As an rc boat builder I must say it turned out beautifull. I like the hatch design too. To me, the boat has kind of a Star Wars look to it 👍 Looking forward to the setup installation video. Cheers, DJ
Looks Good Big B. You'll get better and better. Look forward to the finish product. Need some stickers hats shirts to rep all your hard work and dedication to the Kraft
Easy to make : carbon L shape trim tabs, rudder mount, servo mount, motor mount (tilted) U shape servo tray, battery tray. All pressed between two alu lengths. Epoxy does hardly adhere to alu, so just wax it once. Just a thought...... Oh, your hatch looks factory design !
I've considered heating up some plexiglass for a U-shaped servo mount. Like you mentioned, wax it, then carbonfiber but aluminum sounds like a better idea thanks
Looks incredible. I have made a small carbon fibre tray as my first build so I can only imagine the satisfaction of building a full hull like you. Well done!
Looking good big B! Could fill properly and finish with paint and reveal the carbon where it's good.I actually think that a hull like the top of the hatch would look cool and one of a kind😊 👍🤙
Hell ya Son, looking great, very educational, can’t wait till You do a boat with a self-righting flood chamber of course with dual motors fingers crossed 🤞, BOAT GANG!!!
Nice job done ! REALLY nice. My first attempt, decades ago, was'nt nearly as good as yours. Someone mentioned Star Wars look. I made my latest boat entirely out of chopped strands templates, as for stitch & glue (without the stitching) Templates sqeezed between two glass panels. Better suited for bigger (45 & up) size V hulls. I totally agree with the suggestion vacuum moulding is the way to go. Again, many congrets with you're result !
Thanks, it's definitely a learning curve working with CF I'm use to laying out fiberglass cloth and polyester resins CF is on a whole new level! 👌 I can't believe how strong chopped strand carbonfiber lays out, especially backed with cloth amazingly strong
Actually that little boat is mean and lean Big B, I can see it with a eco mini mono set up with the shaft through mid ship bottom and the rudder underneath as well. Those eco,s are fast and turn on a dime. I especially like the cockpit/hatch you made. 👍 keepm comn and don’t forget the slow motion 🤣 BGFL
Love it you give me lots of ideas for future boats best boat channel on you tube imo. Peace & Prosperity, lol sounds like somthing spock would say ,star trek on the brain. Must be that boat shape ,cant wait like you to get it on the water.
Damn B that baby is gorgeous man! Crazy you made that hull yourself like that! It does mean so much more when you build something from ground up! Do you plan to sell any hulls? I def would like to build one out and add to my fleet! Let me know Sir and thanks for sharing! IRONCLAD BABY!
Im planning on it. I'm gonna pull one more of these hulls vacuum formed so I can get comfortable with the process, I've already started repairs on the drag boat, ordering the tooling gelcoat & polyester for the mold here shortly
@@IRONCLADRC that hull with 3s lipo will be fine, technically it is made on purpose and will be a lot of fun with incredible steering and very fast changes of direction.
ya me too lol within a few months of discovering Big B ive bought 4 boats and enough parts to sink the bismark LOL i asked him to make us a video on how to hide credit card bills and sneak stuff into the house without the wife seeing

I does look like some kinda futuristic sci-fi spaceship, lol. Hmmm. You've got me thinking now.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder LOL. I think she looks beautiful too. It's gonna be an awesome runner; can't wait to see her fly. Cheers!

@@IRONCLADRC aaai! well Goodluck bro and wel see how it works out 😁
Why didn't you make this boat for the "ECO" category with submerged propeller?
I'm planning on building another hull, gonna go submerged drive
