    I remember building one of these huge chip towers at Lucky chances Casino about 8 years ago... Everyone in room was wowed by it taking pictures. Lol. I love your chip art.. I just think its wild its at same casino I did it at around 8 years ago.. Keep up the good vlogs. Good info.

      Its a great poker room. Lots of good games. I miss it a lot. Keep rocking the vlogs.. I thought about doing vlogs. I have played poker for about 14 years. Crazy enough for as much as I have played I am learning stuff on all these vlogs. Good info :)

      It’s important to always be learning something new. Every day I play I’m adjusting and making new realizations :) you should definitely try vlogging, it’s a fun outlet and you learn a lot about yourself. Appreciate the support!

    Can you do a video explaining how you win all those chips in order to have enough chips to make that bridge?

      The staff at Graton has gone paranoid over people even holding their phones over the table....(not nice either)...I suspect you and Brad had something to do with that.

    • @CzechRaiseCharles
      @CzechRaiseCharles  7 років тому

      Hey Kid Surf, I'd love to take the blame for that but they were actually that paranoid when we got there. The second I put my phone down at the table the dealer told me I couldn't have it above the lip of the armrest. I then table changed away to a different dealer who was more lax and didn't say anything. Then an hour later a floor person came by and told us both no phones. So they were like that before we got there. It is possible that they are now even more paranoid then before as a result of our vlog...although being paranoid about it is silly given people record inside casinos all day. You can't stop the advent of technology and it's uses in social settings. There are already casinos welcoming the Vlogs as they are great advertising for the game. I believe if they instead worked with those interested in Vlogging they could do things that would be mutually beneficial. Just my 2 cents.

    • @keysersoze9532
      @keysersoze9532 7 років тому +1

      I've been there 4 times now...and pretty much don't like the people skills of many of the dealers. Plus, the blatant angle shooting etc. that never gets called out....(but that's a personal rant)Anyway....there's a big (20-40) PLO game at Bay 101...I've looked for you a few times. Thx for the content...and good luck....

    • @CzechRaiseCharles
      @CzechRaiseCharles  7 років тому

      Ya they were rather rude with us as well. I don't get to go down to the South Bay very often because of the traffic. I believe that 20-40 game isn't PLO though, isn't it just limit Omaha hi or limit Omaha 8 or better? Don't think they spread PLO at Bay 101.

    Sick vlog man. Never seen San Fran before, do you really need the jacket in February? I'm Canadian so I was expecting shorts and T-shirts haha. How long did it take you to build the rocket ship to completion?

    • @CzechRaiseCharles
      @CzechRaiseCharles  7 років тому

      Thanks gman1991! This was taken in January but the weather here is rather mild. For the most part it stays between 50-65 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the sun sets it can get pretty chilly though. I'd suggest if you ever visit to bring layers. It can be really warm in one part of the city and then once the sun sets get rather cold. If you leave SF proper though it can be a lot hotter. I actually didn't bring a jacket but when we got up to his roof I had to borrow my friends since it was windy 😖 As for how long that took I can't really remember. I tend to build slowly especially when I don't really know exactly what it is I'm making. I'd guess from start to finish a couple of hours. If I had to remake it now I think I can do it in an hour or less 👍🏼

    Just wondering what your thoughts are about Bank Roll size before starting to be professional poker player and how much you should have before raising to next level of game? Thank you!

    • @CzechRaiseCharles
      @CzechRaiseCharles  7 років тому +2

      Hey Bryan Russell that's a great question. I think there's a wide range of what people feel is correct for bankroll management. I've heard many speak of the 20 buy in rule...having at least 20 buyins for any given game. I feel it's all about what you're comfortable with. Obviously the more you have the better. There will be those who are much more aggressive with bankroll management and will gamble it up trying to reach new heights quicker. From my experience it's those who do so that find themselves on large upswings but also often end up broke. I'd say to be on the safe side I'd have 30-40 buyins for whatever game it is you play. Once you reach that amount for the next level then you can move up. Personally I was always a little more aggressive and didn't necessarily make sure that I had 20 buyins. Also playing style matters a lot. If you're aggressive and tend to gamble a bunch then you're swings will be much higher and thus a larger bankroll will help to sustain that. Sorry for the long winded answer, hope that helps!

  • @tomohawk52

    If you make a stack like that and it collapses, spilling chips into the other players' stacks, what happens next? Maybe I'm a lifenit (I don't make stacks taller than 20 chips ever) but this seems really -EV to me.

    • @CzechRaiseCharles
      @CzechRaiseCharles  7 років тому +4

      Great question tomohawk52, it hasn't happened yet so I can't really say haha. They tend to be pretty stable and won't fall over unless someone tries to knock them over on purpose. The one time it came close I was playing at Aria and Greg Mueller came over saying the high limit guys were offering to pay him to knock it over. Afterwards Eli Elezra came by to take a look and it started to wobble so I quickly grabbed the top and kind of brought it down towards myself. Sometimes you just have to gamble with your chips ;)

    • @MrPezdispencer
      @MrPezdispencer 7 років тому

      CzechRaiseCharles okay I'll give you credit if you say so. I just saw some of the chips that were upside down were right side up and things like that. I could have been mistaken though

    • @CzechRaiseCharles
      @CzechRaiseCharles  7 років тому

      Definitely possible that some of the side chips fell off and had to be added back but otherwise it was a rather smooth transition. I shot this over a month ago so I don't remember exactly what fell off but ya definitely was able to move it. Rebuilding would have been a pain!

      Hey Painted Pony Proud Boy, I have plenty of poker in my other episodes. Check them out. As for the music it can be pretty difficult to find decent copyright free music and then once you find it not using it over and over from each video you post. I enjoy Vexento's stuff for the most part and it's fantastic that he allows youtubers to use it free. Good luck at the tables!

      I watched all your other videos. You and Jeff Boski are the only ones playing reasonable PLO games. I enjoy your videos. How does Trooper and Neeme get away with using significantly less offensive music? They don't have enough poker in their content for me either, the only reason I commented was there is literally no poker in this upload. Anyway Thanks GL
