I had a parvo puppy, we got him in february of 2022 and gave him all the best treatment we could, he had to have most of his organs removed by the time he was 6 months old (he was abandoned and only a few weeks old when we got him) and he was the only living member of his litter. He passed away a little over a year later but we gave him the best possible life in the year he lived. He inspired me to start studying to become a vet. RIP chipper, you were the best boy i've ever met.
I'm completely with Peach here, its so sad seeing so many adorable little animals in shelters, like all they want is just 1 person to take them home and be friends with them Also its always so crazy to me the reputation people give Cats, that like they don't love you or whatever, like just go to any animal shelter and every single cat there just want to be friends, play or chill with you - even the cats with such a bad situation are always still so friendly
My family adopted 3 cats and fostered many dogs through APA. They are an excellent organization that lives up to their mission statement and I encourage anyone who has free time to volunteer, you can be a dog walker which is very fun!

u can foster then - u take in an animal, the shelter covers the costs of food and vet bills, and u help that animal reacclimate to a home again while looking for a new one
@@vincentdarkrosraynekittenlady has a couple videos about fostering kittens in a plastic bin! of course the time commitment can be hard with younger animals, but space doesnt always need to be an issue! i hope you find a way to help out some furry friends and have them in your life
also to help with vet fees my spouse and i have a carecredit card, which every vet we've been to accepts. of course its still a credit card, but it can only be used for medical expenses so the risk of spending extraneously isnt there (even human ones, but not all drs accept it)
