- I didn’t think that my career was going to involve me being a artist… let alone a tattoo artist. I’mma try and keep my consistency up, but definitely make sure you’re subscribed, will be posting more content soon!
You my fav tattoo artist fr!!! You inspire me to get better and stick with it 😊 I’m 17, I’m a black queer aspiring tattoo artist and would love if you could shed some light on techniques you’ve learned or how you go about shading and lining?? Can’t wait to see more content from youuu 🤩
I can definitely show techniques and pointers, just know it’ll be things that have worked for me personally but I’m open to showing what I know
This is the first video I’ve watched as I officially start my journey, and I’m so grateful for you putting your journey out there ❤
how its going?
You so inspiring and sensational. Keep rocking it!
I’m so excited and encouraged. I just bought myself a tattoo beginner kit. Thank you for sharing your journey 🩷
You’re so inspiring 💓 I was also going the nursing route because I’m Filipino & my mom wanted me to be in the med field lol. Started tattooing during covid as a side hustle & haven’t stopped since. Keep it up 💯🤞
I’m sitting here listening to your video while doing my own tattoo and I’m a newbie and my husband who speaks the truth regardless if it hurt he’s like babe you ready you got this ,but I been doing him and myself… so me listening to you got me smiling because I’m self taught as well and learned alot from UA-cam as well
Update on ur progress?
In my beginning journey of being a tattoo artist, hard and frustrating yet rewarding. Thank you ❤️ for sharing your experience, don’t feel so alone
Heyyy!!! Love your tattoo journey story. Amazing advice and beautifully spoken. Thank you for this video! Very much appreciated ❤
i realt to you so much i had a custom clothing brand as well i tried to do cna as well i feel like this is a testomony for me school is not my thing but im very artistic
This video was everything i needed! I googled what tat artists need to work but that still doesn’t specify where to start 😭. This answered every question, anxiety and i get to hear it from a black womans perspective. This was the first vid of my tattoo youtube deep dive and im so excited to know that it was your first step too. Thank you!
Loveeeee this!!!
Thank you so much for this video🥹 I was a fashion major but that passion faded away. Got my machine been watching UA-cam…no one wants to teach me anything. Hopefully one day Someone will feel in their heart to give me the hand on insights I need
I wish you could teach me the different needles bc I’m just now learning and it get kinda crazy lol. I just know you can line and shade. Not really into the shading yet until I get my lines straight straight but I do need a little guidance 😩
Please make another video like this I really enjoyed ❤
You did that!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for posting this. I recently switched from a psych major to a studio art major and have been looking for things I could do with that. I was thinking of becoming a video game artist, but it was mostly an "I know I need a degree for that and I like games" rather than something that actually made me excited to get my degree. I love tattoos and as soon as I have the extra money I plan to get a couple that I've thought out heavily with a lot of meaning. I also have some silly ones lined up.
It's always nice to see marginalized people who are self-taught cause I'm disabled and queer, which a lot of alternative spaces aren't super welcoming to. I think I'm starting to see a bit of a professional future for myself again after not really knowing where I was headed for a few years. Definitely gave me some ideas to get ahead while I'm in college too.
I love your advice. Definitely some humbling advice. I appreciate how you spoke about being humble amongst other artists especially in a tattoo environment it's pretty damn amazing that you're aware in that way
I loved this video you can tell it’s real. Can you do a video about his you because an exotic dancer
Yes that’s definitely otw soon!
This was a great video thanks for all the info !
Thx for sharing your story!
thank you so much for. please post all ur tattoo related content
Your loocsssssss 😮
how would you indentify yourself? they them
تفعل هذا لنفسك وليس للآخرين is good
where do i get all of the tattoo equipment ?
AHHH YOUR’RE DOING UA-cam!!!🤗, I can’t wait to watch you more in the future.🖤🖤
I never knew that you were from North Carolina, cause I have been following you for awhile. And I agree with you that Greenville is the worst place to try to get on as a tattoo artist of color. Cause I’m still trying to get my license and certification. You definitely a motivation to me. I appreciate you and I think we both know that shop has its picks. Cause that same shop turned me down and I know that one day I will be bigger than them.
🔥🔥🔥
You have a great attitude and an inspiring story! I love that you decided to follow your heart and not look back. All the best ❤
Hey so I know you keep mentioning that you are completely self taught. I'm curious, throughout your journey from shop to shop and with losing your mentor at that one shop, did you ever actually receive your tattoo license from any of the shops?
I’ve been practicing for the past year. Being nervous making me not do real skin yet but I told myself next month January I will dedicate my thy to doing my first real person until I’m comfortable outside of the fake mats then I will move on to others. Love to see self fraught black artists. I follow a couple UA-cam guys that have had me on point learning with structure to become a tattooist.
I really appreciate your video, it definitely gave me confidence to keep on pursuing my dream job! 🫶🏻 I‘m a nurse in the psychiatric field, I do love it but it‘s just not fulfilling. So thank you for your video I really appreciate it! Keep up with your work! ☺️
I'm here for this new journey and all that's to come. 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for your amazing story. I can relate my experience with yours in some level. I was always art orientated person. I started my tattoo path in 2020 with stick and poke. My first tattoos I did on fake skin and on myself. At the moment I do tattoos on some of my friends. I do a lot of online courses. Thanks to people like you I believe I can become professional tattoo artist. You're very inspiring. All the best
Left sleeve is good.
I relate to your story so much!! I’m a young inspiring tattoo artist myself.
I love your story. It’s real. I’m an artist as well and plan on self learning tattooing and nails to have an at home beauty bar.
🔥 🔥 🔥
Omg girl this is so inspiring. I’m working on becoming a TA and I’m from Greenville. How bout I was at the shop the day that fight broke out! 😂🤣🤦🏾♀️. I said aht aht! But I want to specialize in color on dark skin. I majored in art, and have a degree in art education. I’m done with education and ready to be in business for myself. Thank you for this!
i love this video! watched all of it. v inspirational ❤
keep grinding
I like her! I think she is awesome! Nice video I really think your talented. Thanks for being honest and this video is great, your interesting and the entire time I payed attention to what you were saying. It's very tough for me to do that.

Wait, so you got a chair and you never got your tattoo license? Does your state not require a tattoo license?
