We had a poor start this season, bedding in new players, but the form guide had us at 1st in the table over the last 35 to 40 games, so given a slightly more stable start next time around we'll see you up there in 2024.
Carlisle fan.Dave reminds me of Simmo, both are really decent blokes who talk sense.They don't bluff or make excuses and are honest in their opinions.Close game that could have gone either way,good luck to you next season,you will be fine.
Best compliment to Dave is that he's the County manager I don:t judge against Jimbo. I think they're both managers who had a plan, were honest and clear when talking, and gave you confidence. Assuming we start as we left off, from the form guide, from the last 35 to 40 games, we should be good for automatic next season.

Firstly thanks to the team, management and everyone involved at County for this season. I hope you all enjoy(?) your well earned summer break. Secondly, either VAR was at it's most smoothest running, unintrusive, unnoticeable best ever today or they didn't actually use it. I saw a couple of clear and obvious errors.
Great season maybe it's too early to go up again after just one season after returning to the EFL, keep the same team and give contracts to Hussey, Bryne and Hinchcliffe and with a couple of editions I have full faith we will be champions in 12 months time
I said after we snatched a last minute equaliser at EP in October that whoever finished above them would get promoted! Fairly certain, they'll be right up there again next season
First 35 minutes Stockport were miles ahead, and looked quite impressive. However the second half/extra time, it was constant pointless hoof ball, everytime they won the ball back. After taking the black lad off up top, didn't look as threatening, his first touch could do with a bit of improvement, but held the ball up well, feeding off scraps, and has decent pace on him. The white kid that came on in place couldn't seem to hold the ball up at all in comparison, and didn't seem to add anything else either in normal time, good penalty though near the end. Unlucky to lose in such a cruel way, but you lot should definitely be aiming for autos next season, with a few new editions to add width to the team. Regardless you'll be absolutely fine anyway with the clubs set up now. I'll be watching closely next season. Which game were you watching? Miles ahead in first 35 mins? Think you’ve had to many pints in the sun pal. Yous weren’t great and neither where us. Yous got a fluky goal and after that yous had one decent shot which the worst keeper in league saved.
My dad was saying neither team looked good enough for league 1 on today's performance, but it's a tense final at the end of a long season, and I've seen plenty of European and FA cup finals in which top class teams looked less than top end. Aki's header was a pretty open goal, but I don't think he saw that until it was too late, so was aiming close to the post reasonably sensibly. Anyway, both teams had good spells, it was close, and whichever team lost could argue they were unlucky at some point, but not that the other team didn't deserve it.
Come along way this season only for injuries would of been more creative up top.. But we need more of a aggressive nature from backbone players having a killer strike on goal up top.. Trying to control the game too much with passive play.. Big up next season 💙🤍💙🤍💯
Carlisle deserved it overall and to take near the same amount of fans as county proves the bigger better club won promotion enjoy Sutton away lads while we play derby

Stockport were the best team when Paddy Madden was on the pitch. No playmaker when he went off. Should have kept him on a bit longer.
