A great channel for those transitioning from school into the workforce, people changing careers, artists looking to understand and balance both sides of the art and commerce coin, or individuals simply looking for new ways to implement structured creativity in their own lives. More teachers should use UA-cam as effectively as you do.

You could try them and maybe include in one of your videos so people would be aware that there is actually a good alternative for expensive markers.

I love both the whole design and illustration aspect, how do you learn a certain drawing style? i've tried to watch video tutorials but it's hard when there are so many shapes, clothing styles etc. to make into your drawing style. You can definitely do this digitally. Illustrators use what they want. It's easier to grasp the basics of drawing before you start thinking about personal style.

hi zoe. great video. i like the idea of printing the croquis in a lighter version on paper and drawing on top of them, but i am afraid that regular paper will dry out my markers faster. i really do like marker paper with when using marker. any advice or suggestions or comments?

The croquis I use? shop.zoehong.com. A croquis *book* is something you make yourself. Take all your designs and bind it into a book.

Regular photocopy paper dries out markers a little faster than marker paper but not as much as cardstock, Bristol, or other papers.
