I find they are often too short as I have slim legs. I’m 32 waist would an XL be too big for me? I want the extra length
I just have a couple pairs of Fairtex with a few more in my online shopping cart, but wow, those Sandee Warrior are nice. Unfortunately they're an older style and seem to be sold out. Also, they seem to be more common in the UK than in the US.

Yeah we normally recommend going up a size if you don't like the fit of Thai shorts
I'm around a 29" waist in most jeans and chinos, and I have a couple of the Fairtex slim in size M. I'm curious how an L would fit, but the M is pretty perfect. It's never felt too snug once they're on.
Any idea if the Fairtex M would be comparable to the Sandee S or M?

I'm having a really hard time finding thai shorts that fit. I'm 6 foot 1 and 185 pounds average build. I have a 32 waist. My problem is the length from the waist to the crotch is always too short. Any help is much appreciated

im actually exactly the same size as you and what i did was just order a size up. i usually wear size L so i got a pair of XL thai shorts and they fit perfectly

From what you have said here i would suggest going for a Medium or Small. Small would be a tight fit so the safer one to go for would be the Medium.
I have thick legs, will the slim cut shorts be too tight?
I’m 5’6”, 133lbs with thick thighs, the traditional style works best for me. The more modern looking shorts fit too snug on me so probably the slim cut would be too snug on you
