Well done on an interesting take on an Ultimate Camper. Certainly some good points on it. Looking forward to a bigger bed and a comfortable lounge area in the future as well as a cooking area that is warm and dry in bad weather. Great to see just what inspiration can produce. Keep up the development of the X3. Cheers
If you guys could make a accessory that attaches a shower/toilet area to the outside next to the steps and the front mounts like TrailRecon suggested , this would be even more perfect
Love my X3, good up dates ✅ Would love to have seen 12v usb ports next to the bed, not just the 240v powered usb’s in the pop up power post. Having spent a considerable amount of time in my X3 in wet weather I think it’s a shame you haven’t addressed the weather proofing issues yet. In particular the tow hitch end of the PCOR awning, as it is not weather proof and rain water runs down the air assisted support onto the fridge and shelve area above the kitchen bench even when weather walls are fitted. I just purchased the very expensive front sail to try and rectify what I consider to be an intrinsic design fault and will keep you updated. Have you seam sealed the awning stitching with this model?
i got those usb ports next to the bed fitted to my x3, cost was less than $200 at the local auto electrician, the front sail solves that issue with the water running along the shelf area. Would like to have the awning supports for mine, i think you can have them retro fitted
Hey guys at Patriot, you wanna send me one to test out here in Maun Botswana? (Dare) Love your kit,but honestly will only ever experience it on UA-cam! Thanks for the shows
Agree. I don’t understand the point of these when you can buy a quality US made off road square drop with interior sleeping, galley, heat, solar, best in breed construction and chassis etc for less than these tents/cargo trailers on wheels.
@@Chris-sf2cp There are several US and Canadian made off road brands that are built as well or better than this and priced more reasonably. I have one already, but several makes to choose from. Mission Overland, Boreas, TetonX, just to name a few. Several others. None of these will fall apart. I’m sure the Patriots are nice, but no better than any of these, and $15K to $20K over priced in the US.
@@Chris-sf2cp Just saying, why would you want to sleep in a tent on top of one of these when for the same price you can get all the same equipment and have a nice interior heated sleeping space with no tent to set up in the rain. Doesn’t make sense. My opinion of course. About as valid as yours.
Im in America if a sent you my gmc motorhome 23ft could you re do it all its on a f350 2003 4x4 frame 5.9 cummins 6 speed allison transmission 5th and 6th wheel on independent suspension
Is there a fully enclosed annex? Living in Tassie the wind and rain is a big factor to consider and would make an exposed kitchen unusable and unbearable.
Look at an Ultimate, this is where Patriot got inspiration for the X3, inside kitchen with outside cooking option, inside heating and hot water and superior lounge not to mention a king size bed over the Queen. And it’s still a super light camper. Ultimate are same design for 25 years and still very relevant and inspiring others to emulate.
Could listen to Tommy speak about Patriot all day, can’t wait to buy my own.
This is top quality, a dream come true. I will definitely order one.
Glad you like it! The X3 is an awesome camper trailer👌🏼
Good news, I'm in Thailand. Planning to buy x3 at the end of the year is expected to have to go to Australia.
Just keep getting better.

“Lounge area” lmao

It's a good idea! We'll pass it onto our engineering team
I would love one of these.
