I really envy your thick hair. Mine is very thin and I am going bald now. I am 41 almost 42 and seeing it go away is just frustrating. I wish I would have been born with thick hair.
HairCut Harry, I'm gonna be straight up honest with you, man: salons suck. Everytime I went to one almost none of the women knew how to cut and style a classic skin fade, let alone a classic hair style in general for me. This is why I go to barbershops. Also, barbershops offer more comfortable and quality than salons do. Barbershops take there time when cutting and styling men's hair. On the other hand, you are in and out of salons in around ten minutes. Also, barbershops like to add in aftershaves when they are done cutting skin fades.
Fine haircut. Was a barber. I'm now retired. Started in 1972. Today's barbers are nothing like they used to be. This barber cuts hair like the old time barbers. He's a professional in our trade.
T W Thanks Cpt. Late to the party, I’ve already discovered that myself in 2012. But thanks for telling me anyway, it’s good to see there are nice people like you around ;D
I've been watching and falling asleep to ASMR since 2011 when I was 15, and after 8 years of hundreds of different videos, I can definitely say that this....this is the pinnacle of ASMR.
I have a really good one, haircut on thai rice farm Only first half is asmr, second part he talks and im not into talking, but i liked that too in that video
Hey Ashley whats up.. its me Giggz. Gabe.. are you still at the center? Hit me up its so hard to find a good barber. I think you have cut my hair befor.. I used to let Victor but now he's in Albuquerque. Hope to hear from u
The demeanor of this barber really adds to the relaxation level. Gently combing the hair, and his unherried movements. Reminds me of a company bus driver we had. Everything about the way he drove was smooth. The ten minute ride to the employee lot was the best part of the day. Most of the other drivers threw the bus around like they were possessed.
Rest in peace Gilbert. Thank you Harry for bringing this to my attention. My thoughts are with the Vigil family. Keep the family tradition alive and he shall live on through you.
I have so many memories of this place. I received all my hair cuts as a child here. Including my first. I’m now 33. I don’t live in New Mexico anymore. So this was a real surprise to come across it on UA-cam. Looks just like it did back then. 💙
Rest up you deserve it Gilbert 55years done right and well... thank you for all the hair cuts you gave people and the time you put into the job... Sending love and prayers 🙏❤ to his family now go give them haircuts in a better place R.I.P Gilbert
The one thing I noticed is how quiet everything is. I've been cutting hair for 26 years now and the business has changed a lot. Most people want in and out and without a lot of talking. Very good video.
Just got my haircut there last week. Tiedra was my barber. She and the others all do a great job. I’ve never been disappointed with their work. It’s the best place in Santa Fe to get a haircut. Nothing but good things to say.
Hello friend - thanks so much for your kind words! We had a great time visiting this classic community barber shop, and we loved meeting the Vigil family :)
This is one of those one's thats sublime because you're the only patron in the shop, the barber can give you his full attention and all there is is ambient sound 👍
Harry, One of the better haircuts I've seen you receive. Those type of barbershops are becoming very rare to find these days. I live in So. CA. and just about every barbershop I walk into has the TV or music blaring so loud I get a headache after only being in their a few minutes. Lucky for me I've found a barbershop that's a little old fashion. Oh, how I miss those old days when...… . Thank you for sharing and looking forward to the next video.
Yes, many of these old barbershops are disappearing so we feel really fortunate that we had the opportunity to visit this family's wonderful community barbershop :) Did you have a chance to check out our blog post about this barbershop (haircutharry.com/wp/santa-fes-oldest-and-only-traditional-barber-shop/)? Good to hear you were able to find an old fashioned shop in your area! Thanks so much for stopping by and always supporting this channel!
Hello Steven Rios - thanks so much for watching and appreciating the filming! We were lucky that we had extra help filming this time from Jude's daughter who monitored our stationary camera; she did an awesome job :)
Lookin' good Harry! You did a great job capturing the buzz of the clippers. That's my first memory of intense relaxing ASMR tingles. Thanks to you and your better half for another super relaxing video! Safe travels!

Yes, these were the original barber shop chairs from when the shop was first opened by the grandfather of the owners :) They have been cared for really well and reupholstered over time. Thanks for watching!
HairCut Harry Been subscribed for over 3 years, of course I watched. :) I have a map of the world on a wall, 6 foot by 9 foot map. Huge. And 2 vintage barber chairs pointing rt at it. Best conversation starter. People flock to it at parties and plant themselves there. Highly recommended to everyone.
Love his barber seats and the look of the barbers shop. He also goes with the whole set up. RIP my friend you I hope your up there cutting hair....💚❤️❤️🌟
So nice to see something new from you Harry as well as you defintely needed the haircut. Like this guy as two sayings come to mind as I watched this: "Slow and steady wins the race" & "Do it once and do it right!" This guy is an excellent barber - excellent "trim" for sure! Thank You! :-)
Yes, I definitely needed a haircut! So happy to have Gilbert give me a haircut in this wonderful family owned and operated barber shop :) Thank you so much for stopping by and always supporting this channel!
Im genuinely just jealous that you go to these places that actually give you different hair styles when you walk out. Where I live, no one knows what to do with curly hair other than tell me to straighten it, so I always get it buzzed. Every time I do, they ask how sharp I want the side fade to be. I dont even know what that means.
Haircut Harry, I was traveling through the upper peninsula Michigan, with my father and we discovered the most amazing barbershop completely lost in time. The master barber is a rather old amazing women, please go to her shop and check her out, it was the greatest barber experience of my life

I just love the slow and calm way he combs Harry's hair. It's so pleasant to watch
The old barbers are methodical in their movements.
You might like ASMR videos, they do such things a lot, and you get great tingles from them.

Very relaxing. Love the shuffling sounds of his feet on the rubber mat, the snips of the scissors and no talking. How a haircut should be. 👍
Lesley Woods no talking isn’t how a haircut should be
Yourmomsbacon 26 you have to consider that most people on here enjoy a quiet relaxing cut. Hence why they watch.
@@andrewbarrios9378 I’ll disagree with you completely, I don’t go to a barbershop to talk, I go to get a haircut and carry on with my day!
The hair spray at the beginning is pure ASMR to me!!
Gilbert cut the hair of 4 generations of men in my family, from my grandfather all the way down to my son.
I think haircut harry deserves a cameo in the next fantastic beast
There is something solemn in the way that experienced professionals start the show...
What about Lifting this Video up as high as we can to honor this barber.

I like how he mapped out in his head what he was gonna do.
I agree.. full assesment whilst damping down.. studied hairline fall pattern etc.. any clown can just start clipping away from second 1..
Yeah his intense evaluation of Harry's hair and head was artful as f.
he really didn't tbh. He cut his hair exactly in the way his hair was. He just trimmed it a little. Very bad haircut in my opinion.
