- 4TH SUNDAY OF ADVENT
We continue with our Advent Pilgrimage “Star of wonder”, and invite you to join Magdala in a Journey through The Nativity Trail and the lighting of the Advent wreath. This Sunday we light the 4th candle with joy as we get closer to the day our Lord is coming
The Mount of Olives towards Jerusalem into Getsemani, called Galilee, is an area where people came together to see and hear Jesus preach. When Joseph and Mary arrived on this hill and saw Jerusalem, they knew Belem was getting closer, close to Christmas. It is here when Joseph must have understood what he was told by the angel, he had great faith in the Lord, and this is the city of the promise. In this great city, the Lord saves his people through the chosen people, as we know salvation comes through the Jews, but there is something new happening with Mary strongly on her womb, and they knew this place was not only for the Jews. This land was for the entire population of the world, since the beginning of times until the end of times, this place is for all who have been chosen by God. And this is what The Lord came to reveal with his incarnation and his birth, that we are all called and chosen by him and this is the joy that we all feel this Advent.
Mary and Joseph went through the City of David, as they were looking for the Road of Hebron out of Jerusalem to get to the town of Belem. Mary must have felt loved to be part of the chosen people, bringing salvation to all mankind, knowing that soon she would be giving birth to the Prince of Peace.
God is bringing us a special type of love, he does not measure love by any standard, he loves with no limits because God is love. And that is the whole meaning of Christmas, bringing us together as his chosen people.
Thank you ❤ God bless you!
Thank you so much, my spirit is full and my heart feels warm. To go to the Holy Land would be such a wonderful and immense blessing, but until that can happen, your videos create such an experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Praise you our Lord and God. Come Lord Jesus, Amen 🙏🏻😇x
Thank you so much Kathleen and entire Magdala Team. These have been exceptional!
Happy blessed 4th Sunday of Advent✝. This star of wonder journey has made my journey of Advent so rich. I felt transported in my heart to the Incarnation, preparation and followed the path Mary, Joseph and the unborn Jesus walked to Bethlehem. We’d really love and hope to visit with Magdala and experience the Holy Land. Peace be with you Kathleen and all the Magdala family
