This tank goes beyond aquascaping… I would call it aquasculpturing! 😉 Spot on! Well done Balázs! 👏🏻 Love this tank! 😍
Yup, something else than we usually do. It's more like a sculpture, as you said. The goal is to have fun; meanwhile, we're doing it, right? 😃👍
Wonderful.
Usually, I'm not crazy for flat tanks.
But here...
You made a HUUUUGE flat thing...
And doubled the size of it.
Such skills.
Congrats!!❤
Thank you for so much inspiring contents.
Balazs does incredible work and his imagination for scaping is amazing! Love the low top tanks like that! Beautiful job Balazs! Thank you for the video and the inspiration!
Thanks for the longtime support, as always, Mike. Cheers!
I really like this one. I’m a big fan of trying things differently. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t. This one really came together to be both interesting and beautiful. ❤
Yep, we also enjoy these types of experiments. It might look awful at first, but it can turn into something else in the end. I think Balazs had a clear visual appearance in mind which we only saw at the end. Turned out something special 💚😃
The Most relaxing thing is the end clip .....great aquascape👍
11:39 ok clapping eyes on this tank, i just subbed. WOW. masterful art.
i really liked how you are describing what you are doing in the build and with the plants in particular, how they work, what they like, and that material you are placing them on. also the flash over to that nano tank was just SO nice. seeing the plant you were working with that carpeted the bottom.
Looks awesome! One of my favourites.. interesting selection with the Killifish. I'm too concerned mine would jump out without a lid on, they are notorious for this.. beautiful tank guys!
We usually lower the water in those aquariums where we have a chance for it 👍🐠
Wow, when it was just the wood hardscape in the tank, I thought it looked kind of ugly. But as soon as the plants and water and fish were put in, it became very beautiful! Looks like you took a piece of the river in a forest and put it in a tank!
Beautiful set up. I like the wood . Very dramatic look.
We just dont have words to say
We are just like this 😲😲😲
Mesmerizing the tank ❤
the hardscape in some ways was reminding me of a curvy backed chinese dragon which was cool. : )
Ohh thats crazy you've been watching Bonsai because I literally just started getting into aquascaping and have been watching a bunch of your videos!
It reminds me of a concave of roots form in a pond not a whole in the ground the objective is very well achieved. I think the scapes that are out of ordinary are the ones that are more succesful. The end product of your tank is very nice.
I love unusual tanks, you great artist. Thanks for sharing
Thanks so much for your support 💚👍
I have had the pleasure to see this tank in person a few weeks ago, amazing! I happen to have the same aquarium size and it gave me lots of inspiration! Also it was very nice meeting you guys! Thanks a lot and keep up the good work! Greetings from the Netherlands
Hey, thanks so much for your visit! 😃 Glad to hear you had a chance to see this in person and had a little talk with some of the members.💚🇳🇱
Stunning ❤❤❤u all r great 👍👍
It always makes me smile when you refer to glue that is drying as “healing” vs “curing.” Unsure if it’s intentional or not (we would say the glue is “curing”), but I like the idea of gluing the wood together, and therefore you are “healing” it. Intentional or not, it’s the perfect use of not quite the right word. 😊
LOL, thanks so much, I learn something every day. Curing it is from now on, just watch! :D
I love it. I was just thinking to myself yesterday that I want to scape a 60f...and it should go out of the aquarium...now I know, there is no overkill :)
Absolutely not! 😂 Sometimes, it is fun to experiment with new things. This is the lovely part of our hobby.
The wood structure looks like a sea dragon- epic!
Well done! Your ‚special tanks‘ are always very entertaining and great and not so often seen on UA-cam. Replay great, love it!
This would have to be one of my favorites, such a small tank with such an epic design.
Really a creative layout - looks awesome, I love it!
What crazy shaped ironwood is this! Does anyone else see a dragon's head on the left? This hardscape could only have done by Balazs, crazy and genious! 😅
🤪😂 Thanks guys for your words. Dragon, snake, or a giant spider? Luckily, it is not moving! 😂👍
I really like this tank❤❤❤
The look like a unicorn 🦄
I already hear the horse sound next to it 😂👍💚
@@GreenAquaShop 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
WOW 😲 , monumental ! Hits it on the Nail 👍
Just love it !!! 🤩
Greetings Team
🐸
This one is giving my inspiration for the rescape of my Dennerle 35 L scaper tank.
Cool! Pls share it later! 😃👍
this is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Wow what a nice style ❤
🙏🙂☀️
Exceptional (and outragious 😆) use of wood. Also, very sensible choice of fish. I like it! 👍
💚🙏
Wow, this is beautiful!
easily one of your best Balazs, Bravo
🙏😃👍
One of your best scapes mate 👌🏼
Wow Balasz. That's actually an amazing looking paludarium. Well done!!!
A bit funky but hey! Looks good in the showroom in person 😃👍
I really like this design.
The scape is Absolutely Phenomenal.
Awesome job. Well done, Sir. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️
Thanks for watching and your words 👍🐠😃
@@GreenAquaShop My pleasure, Sir. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️
Beau_ti_ful 🤗
Very very beautiful
thank you😍😄
🙏🙂
Amazing..!!! ❤
😃👍
oh good!!! as soon as you said fish swimming at the top i was hoping for kilifish! :D
Beautiful…but shocking jumpers..
I love it! I also deeply miss my coryadoras. I think they are my fav.
I absolutely love what you have done with the wood, and how it takes over the aquarium. It's a fantastic scape and really inspiring. (I would have chosen a smaller kind of Corydoras tho.)
Yeah, they were trying to convince me to do that in Green Aqua, but I decided to go for these anyway. :)
Absolutely crazy and amazingly beautiful! First glance it reads more like a sculpture than an aquarium. I love it! 😍
Hey Jen, thanks for your words. It is definitely more on the sculpture side. Was a nice experience to do something different this time 💚😃
@@GreenAquaShop It’s stunning 🤩
Stunning work love it bud far play
Yup was 100% fun to make it 😃
Wonderful... though I actually thought it was going to have some hanging plants like the bonsai 😅
😃👍🌴
Great tank🎉🎉🎉
👍🙂
it epic. one of the best I've seen 👌
Thanks for your words 👍
Love to see someone challenging the norm of scale and the design does work, yes....but... For me, I think just a bigger shallow tank would have under--burdened the scale of the small shallow vs the use of thick wood inside and outside the tank.
🐠❤❤❤🐠Nice job🐠❤❤❤🐠
💚😃
Gotta say these shallow tanks with oversized hardscape look amazing and I think are more popular than ever! Only think that was a little off for me was the use of sterbai which grow to 6-7 cm and to me they have the effect of making the tank look small. Dwarf corys instead would have been a better choice, tank would sustain a larger group of them and would make the tank look bigger than it really is. Also how are those killifish not jumping out ? :))
Awsome 😍😍😍 i love it
🥰💚
12:10 its look like Pegasus ??
So beautiful !!!
Now that's what I call :: thinking outside of the box 😅
🤪😂
mizube de verdad! congrats!
🙏😃
Really beautiful!
But don't the roots suck the water out of the aquarium through capillary action?
At the beginning I thought Balasz had lost his mind. At the end I thought "This guy is a genius!!!"😂
LOL, now you understand what we feel sometimes 😂 But most of the time, these improvised setups turn out something great, which we enjoy here at GA 👍😃🐠
Epic
😃👍
A atomizer somehow coming from top i think would take that tank to a new level to
Hello Balazs , I was wondering if you have ever heard this approach before for creating a aquascpe using a lot of driftwood. The way I heard it explained is to try to get the most pieces in the tank , and then if you can see if something has.....? I was thinking that you would be better than me to find the best way to end the sentence . If i had to guess you have heard of this before and Mr. Amano is the one.
Flow?
Would the wood if it could? become a boggy loggy, full and soggy and drip drip drip from the low low tip. A wet wooden python acting like a syphon?
Very cool looking scape, love your work.
i love the concept, like octopus crawling out of the box, will it be good adding plants with red and orange colours in the bottom
Hey, thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it 👍💚
What glue do you recommend?
Mesmerizing! I have a question though. Won’t the Epiplatys Annulatus jump out of the tank?
There is a threat of that, yeah, we try not to fill up the water that much, so far so good. But not sure this would be something that should be done by you.
Balazs your killing me cutting hardwood with a hack saw 😊
Try a Japanese crosscut pull saw. Day and night difference.
Great videos by the way 👌🏻👌🏻
We also have a motorized tool, but even when Balazs has to jump on something, he does it even with a screwdriver if that is the only tool available right next to him 😂 I suppose we should get him a Japanese saw. 😃👍
Thanks so much, brother, just bought a Japanese saw, I'll give credit to you. :)
👌🏻👌🏻 Thanks mate. That’s good to hear, it will make your life easier for sure…
Mega
Talk about algae sterilizer pls
It's a crazy build and looking awesome.
One question Balazs, does the top wood gets dusty always? meaning we need to clean it often?
Thank you! The dirtiness on the wood depends on the location where you have your tank. This is a clean environment here at GA, so it's not much of an issue. But if you have the aquarium in a garage, it could be an issue.
Cool looking tank!
Is it a good idea to use clown kilifish in an open top aquarium? They are jumpers so I’m curious about your opinion 🤔
They are sometimes, but that is why we lowered the water here a bit
Super cool tank, in my opinion it needs more tank, looks a little jammed. But still looks great
Next time we will do more water part for sure 💚 Thanks for watching 👍
Just curious as I'm currently constructing a tank - why no base layer under the amazonia in this build? Is it related to the plant choice?
Yes, I knew I will not use plants with strong root structure that would require that.
Does the wood on the right side not syphon the water out of the tank? 😁 its beautiful though, and much better than my idea of a tank made of solid wood panels with blown glass rods as decoration.
The wood is not soft; otherwise, it could happen.😃👍
Wow, there's only like four gallons of water in there with the hardscape. That's a pretty small volume of water.
Yup it is more like a sculpture 👍
I don't belive ! How the aquarium didn't burst from that wood ? Have you ever had this situation ?
Never had this. The point is to level out the aquariums perfectly and use the glass thick enough for the job. It looks like all the wood is sitting on the glass edge, but most of it is sitting on the lower glass with its weight. 👍
u should Swap the sterbai against habrosus, pymeus or hastatus, i think ... sterbais are to big
How many “Freedom Eagles” is 30 liters?
It is around 8 gal, mate!🇺🇸😅
@@GreenAquaShop Whoa, didn’t expect you to reply! Beautiful tanks Brother, always enjoy watching you work!
THAT. IS. WOOD.
It is! 😂
100-50-35 tank sıg tank mıdır acaba😍🤔
60x30x16cm all details in the desc 👍
Your coffee cup moor bigger than your 60-F😅😅
100% Still feels small sometimes 😂
what happened to the discord server?
We did not have time to supervise it, so we had to close it down, sadly.
@@GreenAquaShop oh :(
That looks ridiculous.
It is! But was a nice experiment for sure. 😃
Hopefully you can add a few small air plants to this semi-terrarium tank. And as always, I really like your voice.
Great idea, will see what we can do. Thanks so much for your feedback 👍🙂
I've found some glass in the middle of that wood :)
🤪👍
Once I say what it looks like, it will stick in your head forever... it looks like a SEAHORSE. But I absolutely love this build!
Now i can't get out of my head 🤪👍Thanks for watching 💚
