      Mr Allen was there from the start, too. Judge Simpson would have remanded this woman to custody at the last hearing, but she brought her child with her and he was extremely kind in front of the boy.

      This defense attorney may have represented her client well except for two things:
      1. Stating that the judge is frustrated. [Stupid nothing to gain by saying this]
      2. Not better prepping her client about how little she should speak. About checking her dismissive attitude and speech. Saying less is best was not her guidance.

      I lost two friends to drunk drivers and I have been in law enforcement for 30 years and have seen more deaths than I can remember but never my parent , I am very sorry for your loss.

      That bugged me, too. She referred to her child in the same way most of us refer to a suitcase! Evidently, he or she (we don't know because she never referred to the child as "my daughter" or "my son") is also a major inconvenience. I can honestly say the words "my kid" have never passed my lips. It's such a disrespectful way to refer to your child.

      I was literally just thinking the same exact thing!! Her defense attorney is talking her up like she’s this amazing and fully contributing member of society with like, a couple of jobs and going to school full time, but then said that she doesn’t have a babysitter “during the day”…um, so all of her work obligations and school attendance occurs only during the hours that her kid is sleeping or something?!🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

      She’s driving. Did you hear her catch herself? I don’t have the time stamp but the judge was asking why it took her until 340pm to get the scram on Monday and she said it was because she didn’t drop off her son to his dads until 3pm. But as soon as she says “I dropped him off…” she changes it to “get picked up”

    Too many people walking around today with no sense of responsibility and no accountability. Our society has become so permissive that there are little to no consequences for bad behavior, especially amongst the younger folks. I am thankful to see that some, like Judge Simpson, are trying to sort out the mess.

    If you can't meet the requirements of probation then the solution is to do your underlying sentence. Probation is 100% a privilege and this defendant literally does not understand that.

    Gotta love the defense atty using the defendant’s age to explain away her behavior. When I was 21, I knew very darn well that I better comply with court orders. She’s not a child. She knows better.

    The defense lawyer referred to the defendants child as "the kid". Really!? He is not a kid, he's a child.
    Hope that child doesn't become too inconvenient for her.

    She's part of the i me mine generation that are born victims and are masters of excuses and don't give a single shit about the previous generations that gave and sacrificed so much.       yeah..i get the feeling but i think it also has a l ot to do with just being headstrong at the age of 21...i remember those days THOUGH i was smart enuff not to blow off important things like court!

    Using your child as an excuse should be grounds for the kid to be removed. My father was poor, barely made enough money, yet he had NO PROBLEMS *sacrificing* stuff to ensure that he had a babysitter for *me* when I was a kid. Sometimes, that's what you need to *do*. A lot of new parents these days do not understand that concept, they want to keep acting like they did when they were kids (and frankly, I'm wondering if that IS a kid, because she certainly doesn't look like an adult to me)

    It's funny how when the lawyer was defending her she came out like this sweet innocent angel. But when the judge spoke it seemed like we were dealing with a monster. I "wonder" which is the truth.

      Fast forward to the next hearing. Did absolutely nothing. NOTHING. If possible sounds even dumber at the next one. Couldn't even get there on time.

      @@OSGCourtWatch after watching it my face almost fell flat on the floor when she said she's too busy and inconvenienced by court orders, to the court! after a laundry list of violations and she hasn't even pled on the damn case yet! totally unreal this generation has an attitude problem. why weren't her parents there?! I bet they must despise her bad attitude as well. the stuff you dig up, squish, is legendary man. keep up the great work, I'm still so glad I found your channel I never knew criminal courts streamed online like this before I found your channel.
