Just ban Fusion Destiny so that Heroes can still play DPE and other decks can still use Verte Anaconda. Nobody can splash DPE if fusion destiny is banned.
but he played so fucking bad, like holy shit i was cringing like hell, the man missed timing on that melfy of the forest and joyous melfy. and the other melfy card so much, the negate effect is not in the same chain so they couldn't have used it to negate. and they also didn't run utopic future for some reason, even though its insanely easy to get it out, since with obedience schooled and rescue cat its very easy to get out 2 xyzs. and melfys have a ton of cards to special summon xyzs from the graveyard as well. also they didn't even run naturia beast or the blackrose interuption on opponents turn, since they were already running hop ear. i think they were allergic to synchros, cuz this deck has a ton of earth synchros they can abuse, even goyo guardian they can use since its earth to counter dpe since you can destroy it then summon it on your field like monster reborn.
im sorry to say that they only won die to maxx c and droplets, since they misplayed so much, also i don't understand why they didn't just use melfy of the forest to make zeus, joyous melfy is very usefull since it can bounce itself to special summon 2 kalentosa to pop 2. the negate of melfy of the forest is overrated and since dpe is already negated its no reason to keep a 500 atk monster with no use.
@@NeostormXLMAX If you played the deck you'd know that there was no missed timing on Forest Melffy. Melffy of the Forest only negates when a Melffy returns to hand. So, he used the negate since there were no other melffys on board anyways. It still prevented an attack that turn, worse case. Melffy of the Forest can not be used in chains. It can only ever be c1.

I'm sick of having to go against DPE for most of my matches. I have tried to bait out DPE many time to only back fire on me and lose. I know it truly fusion density who is at fault here and would love to see it banned. My only deck that I feel confident on against DPE is my traptrix deck.
Great that you're having these rouge tournaments, sadly we have to resort to enforcing our own banlists with konami's lack of attention to game balance and maintenance. Instead we have an undivided attention on their bank account, by bringing out cards that you literally have to get should you want to play the actual game and not just watch someone else play negate solitaire for 20 mins if you're lucky enough to not get a bot. (I mean, ill take the free wins but its pointless trying to do the dailies when you're getting a 10 win streak against bots)
Why the heck is Sekka's Light limited/not at 3? It literally locks you into ONLY using that one Spell for the rest of the Duel. Why even run it at all with a card already so heavily restricted
While DPE is necessary for Meme/Non-Meta decks to climb ranked, it’s not really needed in a tournament imo. Having certain meta monsters that could potentially stop the player from playing with their meme deck overall shouldn’t be allowed in the event. Unless everyone participating is okay with using it, then cool 🙏
I want to see a "True to your Archetype" tournament. Can only use DPE if you use a pure Destiny Hero deck. Can only use Verte Anaconda if using a Predaplant deck. Can only use Baroness De Fleur if using a Fleur deck. Etc. Preferrably, the tournament would ban the obvious powerhouses like Tri-Brigade, True Draco, Eldlich, Swordsoul, etc.

I'd put it on the same level of toxicity as eldlich, rhongo, drytron etc. no matter what you play, they kaiku or Luna or master of beasts it and then go into numeron dragon otk and if you don't summon monsters they use their dangers to go into that godforsaken dragon or just beat you down slowly with orochi and/or Luna. what even beats that deck? eldlich with a full cancer backrow probably... yay, fighting cancer with cancer, amazing.

@@alexanderyuan2542 while I am sure it loses to the completely insane broken decks that set up god knows how many negates, floodgates and disruptions in anything up to 6 monsters on board Turn 1 (adamancipator, tri brigade etc) it completely and utterly dumpters any and all decks that end on a board of 1-2 monsters, whatever they do and whatever kind of monster may be on board, they just get double kaiju'd with the luna + king of beasts combo and then otk'd. To any deck that's not a super disruption resistant combo deck this deck is just as bad, if not worse than any of the T0 decks. The actual worst part is that the deck will either be able to remove everything you have on board and then otk (kaiju+luna/king) or otk you despite having an empty board (lvl 8 dangers and orochi into numeron dragon), and you do not know which one it's going to be. No matter what you do, you're relying on chance and have no way to coutnerplay, aka do the thing that is supposed to happen in a multiplayer game. In essence you are basically relegated to be nothing but a spectator of your own match. You know which other decks are capable of that? yes, the broken tier 0 decks. However, at least they do not make you feel like it's been a mistake to decide to play the game because they happened to have the kaiju+luna/king combo on hand. Regarding your second point, the reason so many decks get so much hate is that so many decks are based soely around the concept of denying your opponent the ability to play the game. Having played a few multipalyer games in my life I noticed a pattern. The one common denominator for whatever thing is universally hated in the community of any game is that it's a feature or game mechanic that denies the other party the opportunity to act or interact. The very basic concept of a multiplayer game is that of "action and reaction". One party does a thing and the other reacts. That's how multiplayer works at a core level. That's what we paly multiplayer games for. It's the purpose of a multipalyer experience. Anything that is universally hated is hated because it breaks this concept. Examples from y personal experience: Snipers and nooblauncher in shooter games, aggro decks is HS, artillery in World of tanks, aircraft carriers in World of warships etc... Imagine a game os apex where you can equip items that disable your opponents weapon so they have to stand there and get kileld by you without any way to defend themselves. imagine a game of football where one team can position themselves in a way that locks the other out of performing any action. imagine a game of chess where white can set up a board that completely shuts down blacks ability to play. it's ridiculous, and yet there'S literally hundrets, if not thousands of decks in YGO that have this as their main purpose and goal. I am not the least bit surprised so many decks get so much hate, and I do not think it's unwarranted whatsoever if it's because of this reason.
